Yang's Inspiration Design

My heartfelt thanks to Jason Lim from Yang’s Inspiration Design. It is not an easy task to takeover from another ID when there was a communication breakdown between the previous ID and myself. I have to thank David for the speedy service recovery and making a site visit with Jason Lim to resolve the issue with the hacking and tiling of my toilet. Scope of project: extensive overhaul as it is a older resale flat more than 30 years old. The overhaul required hacking and full tiling for all the floors and the kitchen and toilet walls and changing of all the existing wires and water pipes as well. Replacing all windows and doors with paint works and carpentry. Jason Lim is great at communicating. He was able to explain his ideas without making it sound like the owner is being dumb, unlike the previous ID where i felt like i was getting judged all the time. For example, i thought it was feasible to relocate basin to the right hand side of the toilet based on the floor plan. Jason considered the practicality of it and took the trouble to demonstrate how it will mean that i will have to walk in a zig zag way to get to the shower and may be more prone to knocking myself against the basin. Can sense that he truly considers the practicality and that a home is meant to be lived in and that potential hazards will have to be considered. He also provides timely updates via whatsapp voice messages and videos. There was minimum miscommunication. It was very pleasant communicating with him. Minimal stress compared to my previous experience. And he is attentive and will take notes with his ipad to make proper records of any new details discussed. Jason Lim is an ID who takes pride in his job and is also armed with the necessary experience. He made the effort to check my flat and made appropriate suggestions and rectifications and i was very happy with how meticulous he was. For instance, there were quite a few defects as the flat i got was in its original condition and there was substantial wear and tear. He made appropriate suggestions on how to make my place look presentable such as those hollow portions above the door frames and the hollow portion at the master bedroom wall due to previous installation of window aircon. In addition, Jason is well equipped with technical knowledge and skills and knows how to inspect whether the renovation is satisfactory and is a breath of fresh air unlike the previous ID and she wanted me to clarify my question i asked her whether chipping was done properly during hacking. I am very satisfied with the revamped walls and the paint job was excellent as well and there was no hollow wall tiles as Jason and David inspected the site and ensured that chipping was done adequately. Thank you Jason and team for the excellent workmanship. I am very satisfied with all the aspects. Thanks for being a problem solver. We found out about Yang's Inspiration Design through Hitcheed. We have sourced through 10 different IDs before landing on Yang's. Our initial ID was CK. After evaluating, we felt CK was easy to communicate with and he will be able to accommodate to our project best. However the project is later handover to his mentor Jerie due to personal reasons. After meeting up with Jerie, we decided to continue to give it a shot. Jerie is very experienced and she was able to handle our requests. She will also suggest ideas and designs to us. The final quality of carpentry was great. There were minor hiccups along the way, but she is very quick in rectifying any issues that arose. Jerie held high standards on her workmanship. The overall work was done within 3 months albeit CNY off period. As we have no hurry for completion, she was still able to deliver the project ahead of time. The price is really competitive. It's no wonder why we chose Yang's amongst 10 ID firms. However most importantly was the ID's character, experience and taste of design.

This is my first time engaging an ID for my 1st home. It was a great experience and a learning stage. Thanks to Jerie Yong from Yang’s Inspiration Design for her patience and guidance during the renovation by providing ideas and suggestions. The carpentry is good with little defects and nice colour combinations. Once again thanks to Jerie and her team in making my dream home come alive

Our renovation journey with Jason & Kelvin over at Yang’s Inspiration Design has been a wondering experience all-around. Reasonably priced with no hard selling, they were really helpful throughout the whole process. Always willing to share their ideas and accommodate whatever changes inputted by us along the way, be it in terms of timeline or design-wise. There were no unsatisfactory surprises throughout the journey as communications to their contractors was always conveyed clearly. 100% would recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy ID.

Engaging Steph from Yang's Inspiration means having a one-stop shop for most of your renovation needs. Apart from giving great advice on our house layout and design, she provides numerous recommendations on where to get your household items, from bathroom accessories, kitchen appliances to water dispensers and more. Carpentry workmanship was excellent and any rectifications or touch-ups required around the house were addressed promptly. Thanks to Steph's efficiency, we moved in earlier than expected. We are thankful we got to work with her and would recommend Yang's Inspiration to anyone seeking to renovate their home.

We had the pleasure of working with Caren from Yang's Inspirational Design and would like to express our sincerest gratitude for her superb services. Truly happy in our new home because she has made it a warm and comfortable place to be and one of the things that make her so great is that she is able to grasp her client’s style instead of pushing her own. We are quite amazed by Caren’s responsive even if we have question and text her late at night. Caren is transparent about what can be done, and give suggestion based on her experience on unnecessary design to cut cost. Choosing a trustful and reliable ID is not an easy process. For us, we were recommended by a friend to David from Yang's Inspiration Design and am glad that we chose him as our ID. David is an easy-going person and has been very helpful and patient of our questions and vision of the house from the start. He would reply to our queries promptly and gave constructive inputs while always trying his best to meet our expectation. He kept us in the loop throughout the renovation process and would make time to come down whenever needed to rectify our doubts. Most importantly, he managed to hasten our renovation process while still providing quality workmanship. My family is greatly appreciative and thankful of all the great service that David and his team has provided and will definitely recommend him to our family and friends. We come to know Stephanie Yang from Yangs ID through Home by Hitcheed in 2022. We decided to go with her as we clique and felt most comfortable communicating with her! And that was when our Reno journey begins. Throughout the home reno journey, Steph has been providing us w ideas & references of how our home can be designed. Even though there were many changes along the way, she is very patient to walk through with us. Steph is very approachable and is always willing to provide us with suggestions. We are thankful that there were no major hiccups and issues identified can be quickly rectified by herself & team. We are happy with our home has turned out to be!

Engaged Jerie Yong as our Interior Designer. We liked working with her as she was easy to communicate with and got the job done quickly. She gave her personal inputs and opinions as an ID to us. When there was an issue/defect, she helped to rectify it immediately even after handover. The after service was important. Not all renovations will be 100%. There will be minor defects. But with Yang’s we felt that there were minimal defects with the finishing and paintings as compared to our houses we have seen. Definitely will recommend her services and Yang’s Inspiration to our family and friends.

Our ID Jingyi has done an excellent job throughout the whole renovation process. From the get go she is objective-driven, yet is also able to accommodate to our needs. As far as timeline goes, it was met with almost zero hiccups. Her responses are prompt, and she is swift in getting imperfections/ rectification works done. Overall we are very pleased with the renovation outcome and would definitely recommend her service.

Kitchen Carpentry was nicely done. However, Kitchen cabinet has a small chip near the hinge.

My wife and myself were looking for a ID and we came across Yang’s ID. We met Jing Yi as our ID. Everything when smoothly, I highly recommend her as your ID as she knows what the consumer wants. It was a great experience, where she recommended us what’s the do and don’t to enhance the experience or the theme we wanted. Overall most of the scheduled was up keeping.
