Welcome Home Design

So many times I have walked into a home that was designed beautifully but didn't reflect the personality of the owners. When we decided to do a major renovation of our main floor I was fearful about hiring a designer for just that reason. But, the project was too big and too important to us to handle on our own. Susan helped us brainstorm and implement our dreams. By first getting an understanding of what we liked and didn't like, she was able to bring us samples that made the selection process easier. We appreciated that she was able to help us include some of our prized possessions in the design ... not necessarily an easy task but she did it with panache! She was also always aware of and respectful of our budget. Not only is my fear of working with a designer gone, I will continue to work with Susan on future projects. We love her!

My wife and I hired Susan VerPlank from Welcome Home Designs in order to help us with the new home we were building. She was spectacular! She took our hopes and dreams with respect to how we wanted our home to feel and transformed them into realities in terms of every little detail like the wood floor we installed, interior paint colors of the walls, outside trim, wood trim, lighting accessories, you name it she helped with it. She gave my wife and I choices, opened our eyes to the multitude of possibilities for our dream home. She was professional with a personal touch. So much so that we consider her family. If I ever build another dream home in my life, Susan VerPlank will be there to assist me. She makes dreams come true.

Susan helped us design our entire house, from the ground up. She not only did a wonderful job helping us with selections and final touches, she was also a joy to work with. She brought just enough options to the table, and gave us direction when we needed it. She kept US on task, without her, we would still be building our house. We are so happy with the final product, we love our house and get so many wonderful compliments on it! I would highly recommend her for any project, small or large, she will give you 100%, all of the time.
