Sass Construction and Design is a division of Shelley Sass Designs, and was the next logical step after the many bathroom, kitchen and entire home remodels undertaken and delivered by Shelley Sass Designs. Shelley and Stephen remodeled two bathrooms for me and the results are very stunning and have given me much joy and happiness. Every time I walk into the bathrooms I get so much pleasure. I work full time and was not around to manage my project, and I knew at every step of the way they were there managing things, taking care of things and looking out for my best interests. Their communication is beyond reproach and their efficiency is outstanding. Every question and request was addressed immediately and I didn’t have to worry about anything. Stephen and Shelley were always available and took care of the entire project management from beginning to end. Shelley’s creative input on the design side resulted in a beautiful elevated look and cohesive design throughout my house. I highly recommend Stephen and Shelley for any design, remodel or construction project, as their passion, integrity and commitment made me realize I thankfully chose the best team!

We worked with Shelley and Stephen to add a new room to our house, specifically a library room with lots of bookshelves and a window seat. From the beginning they were easy to work with and were tremendously helpful. They are both fantastic communicators and always explained every step of the process along the way. We started with just the idea of what we wanted and they helped shape that idea into reality. First they helped us with getting blueprints created and approved by the city. Once that was finished, construction began. Stephen was great in managing the whole project, making sure everything was timely and smooth. He coordinated with all the subcontractors and would always be there to meet them at our house. During construction Shelley helped design the interior with us and interface with the cabinetry company. She's very knowledgeable and we always felt like she valued our opinion as well. They made everything very stress free for us and we're so happy with how the room turned out. We overall loved working with them and would definitely work with them on any future projects.

I used Sass Construction and Design for a kitchen remodel in 2022 and was so pleased with the results that i hired them in 2023 for a bathroom remodel. Very professional and they are on top of every detail.. They have outstanding sub contractors as well. Shelly went with me to numerous tile and quartz stores to find the right designs for my vision.. Stephen checks in multiple times a day to make sure all is in order I also re did all the floor downstairs and the fireplace in the family room. The timeline was adhered to so no delays . I was pleasantly surprised that everything was done in time. I am planning on redoing the two remaining bathrooms next year and will definitely use Sass Construction and Design!

Stephen and Shelley helped us with an almost total renovation of our home - new bathrooms, new flooring, new lighting, painting the inside of the whole house and also some new furniture. From start to finish she was available to manage the project and every one of the trades she recommended were professional and friendly and they all did a great job. The project was completed in really good time with no delays at all. Shelley is very warm and knowledgeable, always hearing what your needs and wants are and offering constructive, affordable and useful suggestions. I recently did a complete interior remodel of my 1955 Lloyd Ruocco style mid-century home. I chose Stephen and Shelley based on long term client relationships and their association with Jasmin Quality Construction. Working with this incredible team took the stress out of home construction and the lines of communication were always open and candid. They promised a 4 month turnaround after I moved out and they completed substantially all their work in less time allowing me to move back into my home earlier than expected. Given the age of the house, there were not many surprises but their recommendations and quality of work are outstanding and they took my goals of maintaining the integrity of the period in mind in all their suggestions. Having an interior designer working alongside the contractors was a blessing and helped me greatly in putting all the finishing touches as we approached the end of the project. I believe their pricing was enormously fair given the scope of work, moving walls, rebuilding staircases, replacing windows/doors, flooring and rehabilitating all interior wood panels which adds beauty and history to the home. Thank you Stephen, Shelley and Humberto and all their team members for treating my home as if it were yours!

We cannot recommend Sass Construction and Design highly enough. Stephen and Shelley helped us remodel our house prior to moving, including helping us throughout the entire remodeling and design process and managing and coordinating every step and every vendor. SCD helped us with everything including demolition, designing the kitchen and selecting cabinets and stone, replacing the flooring, electrical and plumbing work, framing and drywall repair, designing and installation of closets and garage storage, and tile installation. Literally, we cannot imagine going through this process without the support and guidance of SCD. Stephen was at our house managing the project every day for months. We look forward to working with them again on bathroom and office redesigns soon. Stephen and Shelley have a meticulous eye to detail, and always had our best interests in mind. We are so happy with the results of our remodel.
