Throughout his life, he has enjoyed working with his hands and creating extraordinary things and recreating nature. Marcelino apprenticed for a friend who was a stonemason and was a natural. As he gained more knowledge and experience he decided to step out on his own and launched Bautista Masonry in 1996, serving residential and commercial clients throughout the Portland area.
