Revival Furniture repair & Restoration

We had a complete dinning room table and 7 chairs refurbished, that had been in the family since 1974. Jamie provided a first class service, the furniture looked like new upon its return, we were really pleased with the total service. I can definitely recommend Revival as the repair and restoration work they do is of a craftsman standard. The prices they charge are more than reasonable in my opinion, give the high quality of their work.

Jamie has restored many different pieces of furniture over the last few years for me from mending broken chair legs to re upholstering chairs and stools. He is absolutely brilliant at doing it, he has a natural flair and I could not recommend a furniture restorer more. He is easy to deal with and totally reliable.

Jamie at Revival Furniture has worked on a long list of furniture restoration projects for us over the past 5 years. Without exception the quality of his work has been excellent, whether it was repairing and repolishing items of brown furniture that had been water damaged as a result of a flood, or repairing and re-upholstering a wing chair. Personally he is a very pleasant and obliging character and nothing seems to be too much trouble for him. I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Jamie has completed numerous projects for us over the years: and he produces faultless work. Everything from stripping back a badly-painted, inexpensive, but much-loved console table and re-polishing it; to a careful and thoughtful refurbishment of a Victorian pad foot mahogany dining table. It has retained its character, having been in the family for at least three generations. His workshop is a treasure-trove of pieces stacked up (it's a workshop not a showroom!) waiting for a new owner: do not go there if you have promised not to buy another lovely item for your home. I spotted a beautiful early 20th century curved cupboard, which Jamie cleaned up and polished, and which I now use as a bedside table. If you have an absolute deadline, you will need to be clear about that at the start - Jamie works meticulously: his work takes time. But it is worth the wait.

Jamie has restored a number of items of furniture for me including an old desk which is now like new with a beautiful leather top. Also a revolving bookcase has been given a new lease of life. My damaged solid wood worktops in the kitchen have been treated and are like new. Jamie is a very professional and talented craftsman. I would recommend him unreservedly.
