Jack made good a botched staircase by another carpenter and did an absolutely amazing job, with the addition of adding glass balustrade with all the trimmings plus other areas of work including hanging doors and fire doors. He was very professional, coming up with ideas we hadn’t thought of, he was punctual, great communication and friendly. I honestly cannot recommend Jack highly enough enough!

Jack built a wall and some shelves in our kitchen. We couldn’t be happier with the work, communication was great, the work is really high quality and Jack worked incredibly hard to get the work done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend and will be hoping to have Jack back to do additional work soon!

I cannot recommend Jack highly enough. His first job for us was totally revamping our utility room and it looks wonderful. It's a small room and was pretty useless but he managed to make brilliant use of every bit space to ensure I have a great looking, fully functioning and totally practical utility room. Since then he has built a lovely tile hung canopy over our back door and he also designed and built some large cupboards and fitted shelves in our small tv room. His work is exemplary. He is a hard worker and takes great pride in all that he does. He's reliable, dependable, meticulous, unobtrusive, easy to have in your house, accommodating, patient, helpful, has great attention to detail and for all this, great value for money. We look forward to the next time we can find something for him to do at our house!

Jack built us a cupboard and bench seat in our hallway to the exact brief and design we wanted. We’d welcome him back for any future carpentry jobs & was a pleasure to deal with.

Jack shows great attention to detail and is a very hard worker. Have used him on a couple of projects in our house and have been delighted with the results. His carpentry skills are first class and would certainly use his services again for other projects.

I have to say that I was really impressed with the outcome of the work provided. All work was done as we discussed, quality was excellent and frankly couldn’t have asked for more. Liked so much I got him back to do another job for me. J Harvey was nothing but professional and considerate and even was conscious of my elderly mother having to use the stair case he was currently working on. Overall first class, 100% recommend him to anyone!

Jack did a range of work for us. He was a delight to have working with us. He kept costs down for us wherever possible, helped us change our plans and left everything safe and tidy every night before he left. Jack is a very friendly and talented Carpenter. He has always communicated very well, on coatings, timings and any potential changes or delays. He turns up in a neat van and uses quality tools, and we have been very happy with all the jobs he’s done.
