Legacy Kitchen Design Center

We hired Legacy Kitchen Design Center based on a recommendation from a family friend, and we could not have been happier. We came to Steve with a hand sketch of the floor plan of our dream kitchen that we drew before COVID, and he and his team turned that piece of scratch paper into reality. The design team worked with us through multiple revisions of digital mockups. Trish worked with us through every detailed decision (and indecision) in the show room. Steve and his team even worked with us when we opted to go with a 3rd party for the countertops. Our project was a little bit more involved than some. We started with a kitchen that hadn't been updated since the Reagan administration, aside from hardwood flooring. In the end, the only thing we kept was the floor. We completely blew out an exterior wall, and the entire room was torn down to the studs. The Legacy team performed the demo and had us buttoned back up in time for the holidays. The Legacy crews were all very knowledgeable and respectful. As the kitchen was being reconstructed, all of the work crews went out of their way to get our input on the final installation details. Their suggestions and opinions helped us avoid making several mistakes. The end product speaks for itself.

We hired legacy to do a full kitchen remodel as well as fireplace and new flooring throughout the first floor. They were fairly priced, communicative, prompt, and their work was outstanding. We had a few adjustments that needed to be made after the project was completed, and they came out right away to perform the work. Extremely satisfied and happy with the decision to hire Legacy.

The team at Legacy did an amazing job with our kitchen renovation. This was our first ever major home remodel and Wayne and team made us feel extremely comfortable the entire time. They took the time to understand what we were looking for and were able to take our very high level conversation and turn it into an amazing kitchen design. The comparison from before to after makes it feel like a kitchen from a showroom magazine! Wayne was very responsive throughout the entire project and helped to answer any and all questions throughout. From the electricians, to the plumbers, to the tiler, and everyone in between everyone was very personable and happy to answer any questions about what they were doing. We absolutely could not be happier with the final product and process to get there! Amazing!

We hired Steve and his team to update a very large kitchen in a house built in 2006. It was a big job and they knocked it out of the park. One thing I really appreciated was he didn’t try to push new cabinets on us-he had a sub who could refinish our existing high quality cabinets. I would recommend Legacy for a lot of reasons but my top ones are: 1) Steve has a deep bench; if he says someone will be there to work, they will be there, 2) change requests-if there are any, he is reasonable and doesn’t try to capitalize on it, 3) professionalism - the team knows what the job is and gets it done. I definitely recommend Steve and his team.

The whole Legacy team were great to work with. They made the entire process quick and convenient. With great communication and transparency throughout the process we were able to finish our kitchen on time and within budget.

The legacy team has done multiple renovation projects at are home and each time we have found them to have a professional sales process and a very skilled team of craftsman. They stand by their work, complete projects on time and deliver a quality product. We love are kitchen and bathroom!

We contacted Legacy during a recent search for our reno project. We were impressed right away with the Wilmington showroom, and after speaking with three different firms, Legacy won our business easily. The design process was super easy, and we loved the final plans. We did change the scope of the work (added additional work), which complicated the process, but once again, Legacy impressed. We were given a start date and end date for the project, and things flowed like clockwork, more or less. The install team was great - we enjoyed most of the workers. We have also been very pleased with the follow-up after completion. I recommend Legacy highly for a kitchen remodel, large or small. They're easy to work with, quality and detail driven.

Wayne and Steve made a great team for our 2nd story home addition! They were professional, fast, and incredible attention to detail. I highly recommend them for any large, or small project!
