Since then the renovation has grown a lot in scope, and Sean has been exceptional throughout. I'm a visual artist, so I have a lot of strong opinions about aesthetics, and, occasionally, change my mind. Sean has handled all my requests with grace and kindness, and has always, always made sure the end result matches my vision. Thanks to Sean we have now re-done our kitchen, installed tons of lights, replaced a toilet, and completed some rather complicated paint jobs. All of it finished on time and to perfection! Because renovation can be stressful, one of the most important factors is feeling trust in your contractor - knowing he will do what he says and advocate for you when needed. Sean and the whole team at Arch did a beautiful job excavating and refurbishing decades-old pocket doors in our apartment. They came up with quick, effective solutions for modernizing old hardware and the finished product is exactly what we hoped it would be. We have worked with many contractors over the years , some good and some not so good, but Arch Construction fit the bill for a complete renovation of a one bedroom apartment in a New York City co-op. The renovation was started before Covid and Covid halted work for a period, but Arch Construction never let us down and pushed us to keep to a timeline in order to keep the project moving along. This is an attribute that stands out amongst any competition. Arch is intelligent, hard-working, detail-oriented, worked well with suppliers, communicative and very neat, respecting personal property. It was the first time we had done a renovation in New York City, no less in New York City with Covid - but even though the city along with Covid both present their own obstacles, this was an easy process because of Arch’s expertise and calm demeanor. Given our wonderful experience and Arch’s seamless ability to navigate any obstacle, we will be recommending Arch Construction to family, friends and everyone for any sized job.

I can’t recommend Sean and his team highly enough. The work they did on our pre-war apartment is of high quality, looks excellent, and they work with asked to create a plan that was within our budget and they stuck to it. Sean is honest, communicative, and brought copious experience and solid project management skills to the table, and treated us and his team with respect. We live in a co-op and he helped us deftly navigate the various complexities of planning a renovation and getting approval from our board and various required parties. Most importantly, from the day we hired him through the end of our innovation, we felt comfortable and secure in our relationship with Sean, we trusted that he would do a great job and he delivered. We have recommended him to a number of families since and if we ever renovate again we would absolutely hire Arch again.

We had a terrific experience with Arch Construction on many projects at our home, indoors and outside, over the last 18 months. They always arrived on time and on the agreed upon days. The work was always properly supervised. They were quickly responsive to phone calls and emails. We were extremely happy with the quality of the work, on every specific project. Any follow-ups that were required were addressed quickly and completed in the same way. Every project was completed within the agreed upon fee/budget, within the agreed upon deadlines. Arch Construction & Design installed a new bathroom and skim coated and painted my entire apartment. They did a terrific job. The original bathroom was original to the building (60 yrs old). New bathroom looks beautiful. The work was perfect. I am very pleased with it. The walls in the apartment had layers and layers of paint and were very uneven. The skim coating and new paint job makes it look like new construction. Arch was very easy to work with and were in contact with me every step of the way. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

We worked with Arch Construction & Design on a gut renovation of our kitchen and bathroom and a full electrical upgrade of our apartment. The project was a complete success. From start to finish their team went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with every aspect of the work being done.
