Interior Statements

I was born, educated and began my design career in Australia, inspired by the landscape and light. I designed offices, showrooms and homes in Sydney and Brisbane. In the 20 years I lived in London, inspired by English/European history and culture I designed large country houses, period town houses, dental practices, an Art deco home, as well a development of 7 luxury show apartments from interior architecture to ‘turn-key’ fit out. With this experience I also began to develop my property portfolio. I have over 25 years of international experience working with fine artists, skilled craftsmen and distinctive materials for customised design solutions. Alongside my design career, I have lectured on interior design in both Australia and London, as well as guest lecturing in Dubai, and Chile. In 2014, my book, ‘Boutique Home – 10 Steps to Creating your Boutique Space’ was published. Now, I live on the shores of Lake Como, absorbing the Italian culture and lifestyle, inclusive of the best coffee in the world. In the historic centre of Cernobbio, I have developed a 3 bedroom apartment into 2 x 1 bedroom apartments both leased on short term contracts.
