I hired Bob to complete a home renovation project that a previous contractor abandoned when he got in beyond his abilities. The work was in disarray and the budget was stretched. Bob completed a review of the work and my drawing set to establish a path forward. He gave me a written summary of the existing work and a detailed description of the remaining scope. He also gave me a detailed estimate to complete the work. The estimate was more than I wanted to spend but I needed the project to be completed. I gave Bob the go ahead and was immediately impressed. The work progressed in an organized and professional manner. I received a detailed schedule that included a list of decisions that I would need to make and dates for when they needed to be made to keep on schedule. A constant stream of updates followed. I came to understand the value of the General Contractor and the organization that comes with hiring an experienced one. The project was finished without incident and I could not be more satisfied.

bob has been doing work for us as long as we have owned our house , he is highly skilled and was very detail oriented in the commissioning of our solar panel array , if i need another one than i will surly call bob again ,

I used RHC for a recent kitchen remodel at my San Francisco home. His crew was professional and competent. The work was very high quality and I will be using him again in the future. I could not be more satisfied.

In my opinion I would avoid this contractor. This was a deck project. After he finished and left, I made a point of telling him that I changed the door code and he wasn't to come back. He then showed up unannounced at my house and illegally entered. He squeezed past the new contractor's truck (that I had to hire to fix and finish the project), came into the house and then into my backyard. He was angry and looking for money. He didn't find me so left and called me to continue yelling at me for money. This is 8 days after he sent the bill and only 4 after he sent the final release. This really scared me such that I called the police to report him. If it's possible I would suggest to others to get all your change orders in writing (scope and price) and signed off by you and the contractor before the change starts. I wish I had done this. Bob raised the price significantly after the job was done by charging exorbitant rates for change orders that were not inline with his estimate's rates. He also charged me for goods as dictated by the drawings and then used much cheaper material and would not fix it or refund me when I called him on this. In general, he turned extremely nasty and made personal jabs afterwards.

Robert is great to work with, prompt, articulate, clear on scope, cost and expectations. He kept me updated on progress and completed the project ahead of schedule and provided advice on other items I should be on the lookout for for early detection of potential issues.

I am very grateful to Robert Hauser and his Company for their excellent work on remodeling our bathroom and building an additional one in our home. His work is of very high quality and impeccable craftsmanship. In addition, he and his team were able to finish everything well within the projected timelines. I highly recommend his services.
