Mama Movers

Overcharged by three times the binding quote. Lost items, damaged items, disconnected phone numbers, extortion to get your items delivered many many weeks late (Demanded an extra $2700 within an hour to get our stuff). We have literally tens of thousands of dollars of damage and missing stuff. Made up names, no communication, rude behavior. Everything smacks of a scam: 1. can't find the estimate you signed, it disappears 2. Grossly underestimate amount to lowball you 3. on move day when you have no other choice they claim you have too much stuff 4. Blank BOL handed to you. 5. quoted in cubic feet instead of pounds which cannot be verified by weigh stations 6. Large amounts that must only be paid in cash 7. Inactive email, phones and website post pick up 8. Inability to find your things or project a delivery 9. Extreme damage to materials shipped with no regard to condition upon arrival. STAY AWAY

They pick uo our HHG on Sep 7 and scheduled deliver on or between Sep 28 to Oct 9 2020. Today is Oct 27 and still not receive my delivery. My wife and I and my 2 children sleeping on an airbed for almost a month now. Stay away from this mover because you will not going to see your hard earned things if you let this company handle your belongings.

If I could go back in time I would run like heck from this company. Fast. I hired them on September 29 2010 to do a move of eight boxes, one Christmas tree box, 16 other pieces of furniture (most of which were small) for $2000 to go from CA to another state. Pricey, yes, but I figured they guaranteed the delivery in 3 to 7 days so I paid the $500 deposit plus 75% of the remaining balance on pickup. Bear in mind I'm not a Karen or Kyle here. I even paid the movers who came (late, but still they showed) a $175.00 cash tip. I have ABSOLUTELY no issue with paying extra for good and prompt and professional service. Was promised by the sales rep 'Christian', on the binding quote, in writing, that everything would be delivered in 3 to 7 days. Not business days .. Days. Company refused to honor that written promise. They then tried to say it should be 'business days' which would expire on 10/09/2020 for 3 to 7 business days. They are now saying they are refusing to honor THAT written promise. Now they are saying four more days. Again .. their sales rep made in writing a guarantee via email which specifically stated 3 to 7 days.

This team of movers was great. no complaints whatsoever- quality work guys. I'll hopefully never have to move across country again; but if I do ill be sure to use mama movers. pick up went smooth. delivery was on time. only small complain was that the movers showed up 30 minutes late on pick up. but other than that no problems

mama movers completed mym ove last week. as promised they showed up in one of their trucks, wearing their uniforms, with their bill of lading. I got swindled by a broker once before and didn't want to deal with brokers. mama movers showed me on their DOT page that they are indeed a carrier and thats why i chose them. I'm glad i did too! this crew of movers was the best. They really went above and beyond- not sure if they just wanted a tip or if thats how all their employees are- but either way they were great. I’ve already given matts number to some of my friends moving to California and hope they use them too.

we got an email from mama movers advertising their paired shipment deal. apparently we had an option to share a truck with another family headed to NC and could save us some money. the guys gave us plenty of options but we ended up saving like 600$ just by pairing the move. everything arrived in one piece and without scratches. the guys arranged it in the house to my liking and left. no complaints from this happy camper. when we received an email this week to share our experience online we were more than happy too!!!!

I was very impressed seeing how efficiently the movers from mama movers worked during my move from NY to TX. They arrived on time with all the right tools. the foreman ran the crew very well. i struck up a conversation with alex and found out that all of the crew had at least 3 years experience and alex had 6. Its good to be confident in relying on men who know this job well. All my belongings were safely delivered to Texas and I am very thankful for that.

i really didn't want to use a moving company. i had planned to just rent a truck and do it the old fashioned way. i went to pick up my truck rental though and these bozos didn't have the truck available that a reserved online and told me i had to drive to connecticut to pick up a 26ft truck. ridiculous. sammy and i had a long talk in the early stages of deciding what id do and i decided at that point to call him back and see if they could do the move for me. after explaining my situation sammy was nice enough to help me out with the price to fit my budg-et and the guys came two days later to load the truck. all of my items just arrived today and were in good shape. if your thinking of using mama movers, go for it!!!

I used mama movers for a move down the east coast to florida. I decided to chose them as a company because I could tell they knew what they were talking about. I’m the guy that looks everyone up and reads into everything. I look for attention to detail and these guys did the deal. Pick up went smooth, delivery took 5 days. And they kept me in the loop throughout the process. No complaints at all from me. Thanks mama movers!

I used mama movers a few weeks back to move my items from NY to FL. The team did a great job through and through. Would recommend them to anyone looking for no nonsense company.
