I hired Welhington to remodel a small bathroom, which included doubling the size of a shower stall. He and his team were very trustworthy and professional. They were very approachable about answering any questions I had before or during the project. They adhered to the agreed-upon timeline, and also stuck to the agreed-upon total cost. Welhington was very patient with my specific situation, where he was able to work around several items that were (and still are) on back order. Besides some minor issues that are not even worth mentioning, I would absolutely recommend Welhington for whatever remodeling job you have.

Wellington and his team are super reliable. They remodeled our bathroom in only a few short weeks, arriving early in the AM and working throughout the day to get the project finished quickly. We invited them back to replace our doors and windows in the basement and they did another great job - installing the sills, windows, and door in just one day. Highly recommend them.

I have used DS General Services 3 times now for refinishing hardwood floors and interior painting. I was very pleased the first 2 times so I used them again for another floor refinishing job. There were three floors involved. Two are parkay and one was hardwood but covered in carpet so that most of the floor was not visible. At the beginning of the job, I specifically told the owner that if there were any issues to please contact me. At the conclusion of the job, I saw that the floor that had been covered in carpet had large gaps between the boards. It is a very old house so this is not a surprise. However, I was never contacted about it. When I contacted DS to ask what they would recommend to address it, they said any wood filler would fail so its best to just leave it as is. I googled the issue and saw that it was recommended to fill such gaps with a mixture of the sanding dust generated from sanding the floor and a sanding sealer. If this had been suggested prior to finishing, I would have agreed. Its obviously too late now. DS said they have encountered this in many old houses and no one has ever complained before. I find that hard to believe. So now DS is recommending I use a wood filler. Its not too late for that but they already told me that would be doomed to fail. I probably will take the original advice and leave it as is but I am in a quandary as to what to do. I am mostly disappointed that the gaps were not brought to my attention when there was time to address it with multiple options.

Welhington and his crew are extremely professional. They work hard, they are respectful, and they do a fantastic job. Welhington is very responsive, he always replies to texts in a timely fashion and is available to answer questions at all times. What I admire the most about the DS General Services aside from their excellent work ethic is the fact that the always clean after themselves and vacuum the work area at the end of their work day which to me is a sign of respect. I strongly recommend DS General Service.

Welhington and his crew did excellent job renovating our basement. We renovated two rooms, added wet bar with a sink and a bathroom and laundry room. They communicated every step of the way, proposed some good changes to the original plan and were upfront about costs. I’d love to hire them again for another project and definitely recommend them.

Welhington and his crew from DS General Services refinished our entire first floor of hardwood flooring as well as our stairs and upstairs hallway. Throughout the process, Welhington kept us informed and showed a commitment to quality. Everyone who came into our home to work on the project was incredibly nice and professional. The project was done on time and on budget, and Welhington was always willing to respond to concerns and make corrections along the way. We are so happy we chose them. For our project, we didn't work with a decorator, so this did mean we had to stay on top of materials to make sure the project could progress. It was a little more work for us than it would have been with some other contractors, but we got exactly what we wanted and saved quite a bit of money in the process. If you are willing to put this additional work in, DS General Services has our highest recommendation. We would definitely use them again.

I’ve had Welhington and his crew here for two jobs. Super professional, super hard workers, and the floors on both levels of my house look fantastic. He restored my hardwood on the top floor a few months ago and just yesterday installed a new floor and baseboards on the first level. Super happy with the results. His rates are very competitive, and he’s also just very nice, very calm. I highly recommend this crew.
