Jennifer Pinder

Jennifer Pinder’s color-saturated and richly textural works hang in boardrooms, homes, public spaces and offices across the world, a testimony to the compelling and evocative nature of her artistic practice. Pinder has exhibited her work in New York, Doha and Ferrara. Until her move to Qatar in late 2009, Pinder enjoyed a longstanding association with the Libby Edwards Galleries, exhibiting her works and executing commissions for high-profile clients. Commissions from this period include a series of paintings for the public spaces of Hayman Island, Queensland, one of the world’s finest five star resorts. In January 2011, Pinder held her first Middle East-based exhibition, “Unique Perspectives” at the art space at the Grand Hyatt Doha. The exhibition opening drew the biggest crowd ever at the space with a host of dignitaries from across the Middle East in attendance. While living in Qatar she enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Anima gallery at The Pearl, Doha - this relationship generated a number of commissioned works for prominent families in the region. In February/March 2012 Pinder’s paintings were shown at the Agora Gallery, in the heart of Manhattan's art district. The collective "Substance of Abstraction" exhibition was highly successful and Pinder's work was showcased on the front and back cover of the prestigious New York arts magazine ArtisSpectrum May/June issue. New York called again the following year in 2013 and she showed with Creative Concepts in the "Elements of Expression” exhibition in Chelsea. Pinder was soon invited to exhibit at the ‘Liberated Dreams’ annual Trevisan International Art Exhibition in Ferrara, Italy, where she won the Lucrezia Borgia Prize. This exhibition began a long standing association with Trevisan International and Pinder worked with them again in 2014 showing at the Synchronies exhibition in Madrid, Spain. Living back home in Melbourne, Australia since 2013 with husband Sam, son Luca and dog Sonny, the pace hasn’t slowed.
