W&T CONCRETE/ INDEPENDANT CONTRACTORS

Poured a patio for us in August 2021. Seven months later, major issues with the structure. Large pockets of concrete crumbling. Calls to Willie were unresponsive. “Disappointing” would be an understatement, considering the cost.

W&T did two projects for me, a garage floor and a extension to my driveway. They did a great job,I was very happy with the finished results. I did need a retaining wall,they clearly explained that wasnt their line of work, I appreciated the honesty.

DO NOT USE! We hired Willy from W&T Concrete to remove and replace our front stoop and stairs. He told us he had 20 years of experience but the job was done incredibly bad and unsafe. The form popped when the concrete was being poured so the stoop was misshapen. He tried to correct the issue by applying more concrete to the edge but that just cracked within a day. All the edges were left raw which he then skim-coated (also cracking). The biggest mistake was the stairs were misshaped and ranged in heights from 7.5" to 10.5" which is incredibly unsafe and out of code. Due to the stair height issue being so unsafe, we have to have the full project removed and replaced by a new vendor. We worked out a refund amount with Willy and his wife due to the poor quality of the job. They paid half of that amount then cut off all communication and refused to refund the remaining agreed upon amount. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
