their work is stunningly beautiful, creative, and innovative. most importantly home is so livable , logically laid out and classic. outside their homes are like pieces of sculpture perfectly perched on the land. artistic yet extremely functional. inside the attention to detail is immediately apparent, the style is timeless. great work that will be admired for centuries.

Burgin Lambert was hired to renovate the Watch Hill Yacht Club that sits on piers over water. The project required extensive demolition, structural upgrades, reconfiguration of spaces and complete replacement of mechanical and electrical infrastructure. Exacerbating this already daunting task was the fact that construction could not begin until after Labor Day and required completion by June. During the entire process, Rob Lambert and his team were there to answer questions and solve problems which allowed the construction to proceed on schedule. We were so pleased with their work that we hired them again to redesign our beach cabanas in 2009 and tie in design elements from the WHYC to the new cabanas. This project which was a complete tear down and reconstruction was again successfully completed between Labor Day and Memorial day. I recommend Burgin Lambert unconditionally for any project that requires great design, thoughtful detail, adherence to budget and maintenance of schedule.

This is my fifth project with Burgin Lambert Architects over more than 25 years. All of the work has been reconstruction and renovations of older buildings. This is perhaps the most difficult work, because there are so many obstacles working around an old structure. The finished projects have always enhanced the community and Burgin Lambert's design talents are immediately recognized. When I recently purchased the old Jamestown Town Hall, the board recognized my prior work with Burgin Lambert as reason to sell me the building. Probably the most impressive aspect of working with Burgin Lambert is hearing from the contractors how impressed they are about the quality and details of their plans. The plans are as accurate and detailed as any they have worked with in the industry. Change orders during my projects have been due to adjustments for my personal taste, in other words changing my mind, none are surprises due to errors and omissions on Burgin Lambert's behalf. If you want a project that will fit the community and bring recognition, I could not recommend anyone more highly. They are smart, ethical, talented, and highly recognized in the community.

Rob Lambert and his tream really listened to what we wanted and came up with a beautiful rendition of our dream home. The quality of the work was high, the people we interacted with at the firm pleasant and knowledgeable and the end product beautiful.
