Wendy is a very talented, imaginative and creative designer. From initial consultation to final drawings, I never ceased to be amazed by the amount of time and thought that she put in to her work for us. The attention to detail, plethora of ideas, trade contacts, places to source materials and furnishings was unbelievable. She's managed to create space and increase storage where we didn't think possible and pulled together a design, which was not only practical but modern and eye catching. From receipt of drawings to finished article, our builder barely had to ask a question. Don't underestimate the value of a top class designer like Wendy, she's fabulous.

Wendy was incredibly helpful when we were looking for someone to repair a cracked lintel in our Victorian terrace. In what was a stressful time she was quick to reply and put us on contact with excellent people to get the job done. Thank you!

Wendy was a real help. She’s friendly, she listens, comes up with great suggestions and best of all is reasonable. We love the bathroom tiles, they’re perfect. We especially love the cornicing in one of the bedrooms. The house is 170+ years old and the disintegrating cornicing was covered in as many years of paint so no way of telling what was underneath. Wendy spent a couple of hours painstakingly stripping off the paint to reveal the original design. She organised for a mould to be made and we now have stunning cornicing back in the room. It’s gorgeous. I’ve just got back in touch with her to help us with the finishing touches to the rest of the house. Can’t wait!

Wendy had a big challenge in our flat. Slope ceilings, lack of storage and odd shapes. She was always very helpful, had innovative ideas and stuck to the budget as much as she could. The end result was amazing. We were so happy, it was a completely different place and she definitely solved the storage issue with her fitted wardrobe design. From the new floor, to the walls colours, to the wallpaper, to the stair runner, even the new electrics in the ceilings, every little detail was perfect and we were so glad she made our old looking flat a beautiful modern home.

Faced with the daunting prospect of inviting an interior designer into our home, we couldn’t have been MORE chuffed when Wendy walked in. What a lovely lady! AND she takes all the strain off your brain that would have resulted if we had tried to manage plumbers, electricians and builders all on our own. Thanks to Wendy’s creative eye, her incredibly high standards, her wonderful team and sheer hard work, our bathroom is beautiful; our kitchen even more so; the living room is to die for. Next up: The rest of the house!

In 2013, Wendy helped to completely transform our sorry looking Victorian terrace house into a stunning family home (see Spruce Hills Road project images). From the first time we met Wendy it was clear she completely understood our ideas, style and how we lived in the space. She took our ideas, elevated them to another level and made suggestions we hadn't thought of/been brave enough to do, but we absolutely loved them! She was also great at sourcing high quality materials that weren't insane prices. Wendy was always on hand to answer any questions we had and fully project managed the work on our behalf - ensuring everything was delivered on time and to budget. She has great connections to other tradespeople too - decorators, builders, tilers, joiners etc. who all did an equally high standard of work. We would highly recommend Wendy Hooper Interiors!

We first contacted Wendy in 2014 when embarking on a house renovation project. We needed help with everything: bathrooms, lighting, heating, paint, furnishings, the lot. But we also needed a phased approach where costs would be spread over time. Wendy has been so helpful and has gradually converted our house into something we're really proud of. We'd recommend her to anyone, and are happy to give a detailed reference.
