We recently embarked on a refresh of our kitchen, keeping the existing countertops and floors, but replacing the counters, backsplash, and appliances. We knew that the project would be complicated, as the space was tight to install the new gas cooktop, wall oven, and downdraft vent. We were so fortunate to find Upstairs Downstairs Tile & Wayne. Not only did Wayne help us select a counter and backsplash tile that look fantastic, he also coordinated the entire job for us, from the carpenter to the electrician, plumber, tile installer, and counter installers. We got the tile for our bathroom at Upstairs Downstairs when we built our house 34 years ago. When we wanted to renovate our bath, we returned. Diane helped us design the perfect bathroom. When our original ideas didn't fit within our budget, she very creatively figured out modifications that made the project possible, yet retained the details that we wanted. I hired this company to repair a variety of residential kitchen tile grout, kitchen sink silicon, and bathroom silicon. They performed excellently and I highly recommend them!

This company installed two honed marble counter tops and provided the travertine stone tiles for my kitchen and hall floors and the honed marble subway tiles for the back splash. They spent an incredible amount of time with me up front, showing me various slabs they had for other customers to help me narrow down exactly what I wanted. They also allowed me to help decide how to cut the slab once the latter was in the shop. They spent a great deal of time selecting the connecting pieces so that they matched up well with the main countertop pieces. They were great to work with.
