We have worked with Tricia for nearly ten years - most recently on the large scale renovation of our family home in Bowdon.
Tricia’s input was invaluable at all stages - from recommending an architect, to liaising with all contractors and ensuring that the implementation of the designs ran as smoothly as possible, on time and on budget.
After the demolition of a lean-to conservatory, Tricia transformed our kitchen extension with a Crittal glazed wall into a courtyard garden. Our faith in her strong design skills meant we the had the confidence to invest in a bold and more dramatic aesthetic.
Tricia has all the qualities you would want from an interior designer - seeing potential beyond the false ceilings and boarded up fireplaces, picking the perfect shades of grey for architectural details and sourcing stunning vintage pieces.
As well as creating beautiful rooms Tricia has a fantastic, practical approach - making things happen, finding solutions to inevitable hiccups. She ensured that our home reflects our personalities and how we envisaged living in the space - whether it was designing our basement entrance for the family dog coming home from a muddy winter walk into the Boot Room, or sourcing the perfect wood effect ceramic tiles for the kitchen floor. Her eye for detail ensured wellies and walking boots were measured before the storage was built!
The transformation has made the house a real pleasure day to day - from the blooms on the wallpaper to the log burner in the kitchen, the bath positioned to look out onto the garden, to the book-lined reading landing.
She inspired confidence that, no matter how difficult some stages of the project were, when the work was finished, our home would be everything we had envisaged and a joy to live in! How right she was!
