We create extraordinary handmade lampshades, lamps, chandeliers, lighting systems and fine lighting fixtures for residential, commercial and hospitality industries, here in our studio and showroom in Tribeca, New York City. Since 1996, we’ve been working with some of the design industry’s most recognized interior designers, product designers and architects for homes and brands all over the world. Each time I've worked with trans-LUXE its been an absolute pleasure. Their custom lamp shades & lighting fixtures never disappoint in quality and appeal.

We have worked with Transluxe many times over the past 12 years. They have made countless lamp shades for us and rewired and reworked many existing fixtures. This past year they fabricated from our drawings a very large, brass floor lamp. The degree of difficulty for this piece was very high but It was executed beautifully and our client loved it. Sandra Santos, the owner, is wonderful to work with and has a great eye. I trust her implicitly when selecting materials or deciding on shapes and would highly recommend her to design professionals.

They have a great attention to detail and are open to suggestions. The quality of the work is great and if something is incorrect they don't question it and will make it so that the item is acceptable. The only negative comment is that they are a bit disorganized and can mess up orders if you aren't very diligent with project follow-up.

We hired Trans-Luxe to help design and fabric (2) large parchment & metal ceiling light fixtures. They came out beautiful and look exactly as we had anticipated and in the time frame they specified.
