Traci was our top choice designer after considering personal recommendations and pouring over dozens of reviews. She absolutely exceeded our expectations! My husband and I worked with Traci during a Designer for a Day session to develop a plan for a tranquil, polished, and functional family room where we could make special memories with our (soon to be born) son, extended family, and friends. My husband and I were thrilled with the beautiful, thoughtful, and detailed design Traci developed to transform the dark family room of our beloved 1969 brick ranch (with an imposing red fireplace and limited natural light from the adjoining sun room) into a bright and inviting space. We were drawn to Traci’s sophisticated, “livable luxury” style from the very beginning, and we absolutely adore her lovely arrangement for our family room—the furnishings, fabrics, window treatments, and accessories are equally elegant, timeless, fresh, durable, and “in tune” with our tastes and our house’s architectural style! Traci employs a very strategic approach to design a space with given goals and constraints as well as expert analysis with which she listens to a client’s needs and articulates the rationale for solutions. She tailored our plan to a variety of family activities, and her savvy “mom hat” proved invaluable as she even considered how the room will evolve to accommodate our changing needs as our family grows. Her long-range perspective reassured us that our investments would be wise and long-term. She clearly explained the key essentials for transforming the space, walked us through how we could accomplish this vision in phases, advised us on how to prioritize our investments, and shared strategic recommendations for how to save on supporting pieces. To top it off, Traci is incredibly genuine, kind and a joy to work with. She went above and beyond to thoroughly answer our questions and was exceptionally generous with her talents, ideas, and time. What she cared most about was that all of our concerns for our family room were addressed during our session, and we were very touched by how she was truly invested in our goals. Even though my husband and I are just starting a family in our first house, Traci truly valued our needs and made us feel that our project was important. We found our session so valuable that, in retrospect, we wish our first investment upon buying our house was a consultation with Traci. I used Traci for a complete interior paint consultation. My biggest fear was that a designer would talk me into to something I didn't like, but Traci was the opposite. She really listened to me to understand my style and recommend around it. She also went above and beyond answering other questions I had (hardwood floor stain color, railings, granite choices). I never felt nickel and dimed with our time. And she prepared a full recap of our decisions with large paint samples and detailed specifications of paint finish by room, etc. I am so impressed by Traci's sophisticated style and will definitely use her again.

I hired Traci for her double day design session in the fall of 2013. My goal was to redo my living room and powder room. I had never worked with a designer before so I was not sure what to expect. I had spent thousands of dollars furnishing my house, but it never really felt "put together". After 2 sessions with Traci, we came up with a plan for my living room and powder room (and kitchen backsplash and dining room....she went above and beyond answering all my questions even if they did not pertain to the rooms we were working on). I enjoyed every minute of my double day design experience. Traci has an amazing eye for design and did a wonderful job of picking up on my style preferences after working together for just a short period of time. I received a very detailed action list at the end of my session and have been able to finish the rooms at my own pace (I especially like that I didn't feel rushed when she followed-up to see how things were coming along and I hadn't completely finished either room). I have most of the items finalized now and love the way both rooms turned out. I enthusiastically recommend Traci Zeller for any of your design needs.

Traci was a true pleasure to work with.... She is funny and great at diffusing conflicting opinions between two partners, as she is straight-forward, highly-skilled, honest, witty, and tactful. We utilized her services to help us with our layout of two very difficult rooms. She helped us design a beautiful office space and family room that is functional, warm, and lovely-- while being cognizant of our style blended with her expertise of what looks fabulous, all the while keeping in mind that we have growing, active twin boys. She also selected all the paint colors for the entire inside of our house. When we had any questions or needed her opinion about home purchases, she was incredibly timely and responsive to us. No doubt, Traci's expansive knowledge and mastery of design and aesthetics makes her one of the best designers in the Southeast, and she is just so easy and great to collaborate with!

We had such a wonderful experience with Traci Zeller Designs. From the initial contact of Deb Mitchell, the Director of Communications, to the actual meeting of Traci Zeller herself. Both Deb & Traci were so easy to work with and they asked all the right questions (likes, dislikes, style, etc). We recently moved into our home and hired Traci to provide us guidance on décor, furniture selection and room layout. We met with a couple of designers and Traci was the only one that truly listened and grasped what we wanted. She’s thoughtful to stay within budget so we really appreciated that she listed a couple of options to choose from. I love my new den and I am so glad I found Traci Zeller Designs! Traci was able to translate what I was looking for into an action plan and terrific suggestions. My son said "It is very welcoming" which was exactly the look I was going for! I found out about Traci and her one day program in a newspaper article. After discussion with her office we decided that would be perfect for my needs. I sent over several looks I found on-line,clipped pictures and completed her questionnaire. She came with a trunk full of fabric/rug/paint samples and lots of great ideas. It was amazing how different the room felt just by changing the furniture placement - Traci even went with me to order my new couch and chairs offering her expert knowledge throughout the process. I still have a few more things to do but I am empowered with the action plan she set up and can proceed at my own pace. Traci gave me terrific resources, I love the ease and delivery of my new rug and paint selections for my other rooms. It was a terrific experience. Traci and her staff were delightful to work with.

I have had a wonderful experience working with Traci Zeller Designs. Traci’s style is beautiful—classic, polished, and timeless, yet she is ahead of the latest trends in the design industry. She is able to make her designs beautiful, yet practical, which is exactly what I’m looking for with my family of 5. Traci carefully listens to her clients, and delivers a detailed plan that is specific to that client’s needs. Traci has a process she follows which makes a seemingly large project, feel easy to implement. On the other hand, she makes every client feel very important, no matter how large or small the project is. She stays within budget, but offers choices between “splurge” options or not. Her communication is wonderful. Traci’s selections are all carefully thought-out…from paint colors, to precise rug dimensions, to heights of side tables coordinating with sofa arm heights. She has saved us so much money, just because I am not making design mistakes! The highest testimonial we can provide is Traci listens! Traci asked about our likes, dislikes, style, etc. She made tow visits to our home...the first was primarily fact-finding and to collaboratively gather ideas and concepts. She returned for a send visit with concrete determinations on how we could implement the ideas. With some tweaking, we developed a final vision, hired craftsmen and began the least fun part of the project: tearing down and building up. It's down and we are quite pleased with the transformation from a style of dark "early hodgepodge" to a clean lined, sleek and bright style.
