I knew I wanted a handsome fireplace surround which encompassed interesting detail for an above-mantel large flat-screen TV. The fireplace surround and mantel had to be custom made to fit into the limited space. I showed Tim my style preference, to which he was faithful. The unit had to accommodate a gas insert. Additional speakers for the TV and a CD/DVD unit were attached in the interior ends of the unit (you can see the blended-in speaker screens in the attached photo). The painted finish was superbly smooth (like a power-coated finish on metal). This mantel/surround is the focal point of my living room--a "wow!" factor to visitors. This same carpenter extraordinaire also made two very attractive radiator covers for my first floor. I am very satisfied with the exceptional work. He is very easy to work with, too.

TLKing gets high marks on all professional criteria in my book. Tim was easy to get a hold of for an estimate, came to the house the very next day to measure and brainstorm on the best design and fit for the room. Within 2 days I had a draft to review and was on his schedule for installation within 5 weeks. I've worked with Cabinetmakers in the past where this process took months of waiting time. I am blown away at the finished product. Tim completely understood what my needs were for my sewing studio and included some very nice custom features and accessories. The installation was done without a trace of dust or debris. I highly recommend TLKing as a fair price for high quality and timely work.
