In 2014, Tim has designed our 1950’s 1100 sqft ranch home to a beautiful two stories 2400 sqft. Prior to meeting Tim , I had met with several contractors and architects. Due to limited space everyone had some ideas but I did not like it. It appears that it was impossible to convert one story to two stories. But Tim made it to work. In first meeting Tim brought the idea that was amazing and I hired Tim right away. He is such a wonderful, and polite to work with. I love my home, and I think I will hire Tim again for my second house. Regards,

Tim designed covers for our baseboard radiators to replace the standard metal ones. They complement both the historic style of the neighborhood and building and the our desire for a simple design. He also designed a new fireplace surround that is contemporary yet in keeping with the existing details of the unit. Tim is very easy to work with - responsive, creative, knowledgeable, calm and reliable. We recommend him highly.

Tim designed a 3000 sf addition to our 2000 sf antique Greek revival. Tim had great knowledge of period architecture and provided suggestions that we love. He was prompt, professional and wonderful to work with.

Working with Tim Burke was one of the highlights of the seven month renovation project that we undertook starting in the fall of 2012. It was our first time buying and renovating a house, and I can safely say that without Tim, many of the things we most love about our house would not have been built. He has a keen eye for detail, and does a great job of listening to what you want to do with a space and then coming up with amazing solutions that you never even thought possible. Tim designed cubbies for our foyer that we use every day, a wonderful pantry in our kitchen, the most incredible walk-in closet and master bathroom, and so much more. In addition, he helped us expand other closets in our house as well as consulted with us to help choose paint colors and tiles for various areas of the house. I don't know what I would have done without Tim as a part of our renovation process. He walked me through so many things that I found daunting and helped me feel at ease. He was a joy to work with and I look forward to doing so again when we decide to tackle a few of the projects that we left for the future.

Tim was just terrific to work with. We were restoring/renovating a 5000+/- sf 1873 Eastlake Victorian in Jamaica Plain and brought Tim in at the beginning of what was a complete multi-year overhaul. Tim was excellent at listening to what we wanted to achieve and then translating those ideas into reality. But he also gently persuaded us to consider options and ideas we hadn't thought about. We've worked with Tim now for over 10 years on this and other properties and recommend him without fail.

Tim designed a bathroom and kitchen for our contemporary house in Dedham. He listened carefully to our ideas and brought us several designs that were creative and practical. Both projects came out beautifully and we have enjoyed living in the spaces that Tim designed. Tim's approach is calm and thoughtful, which helped us to get through the renovation process without melt-downs. He was respectful of the budget and helped us to make careful choices of fixtures and finishes. I recommend Tim and his partners without reservation.
