I turned my formal dining room into a mudroom with built in lockers and new entry for the half bath. The room is 10x14 which made for an awkward formal dining area. Now I have an area for coats, book bags, mail and office stuff! The contractor did a great job with communicating with me as well as getting my opinion on specifics.
