Magnificent Murals

"THE ITALIAN AMERICAN SOCIAL CLUB HERITAGE MURAL PROJECT" The project consists of a large exterior wall Italian Theme mural with.painted scroll, large map of Italy, (as the central focus ) surrounded with cross flags of Italy and USA, Italian villa , and gondola scene, The wall structural support columns are painted with grape vines as a surround. The artist took great pains and research to portray mountains valleys, rivers, and lakes on the map.. Having completed the mural to great satisfaction, the challenge for the artist was yet to come; the addition of 52 member sponsored family heritage cities and towns at the correct location (s) on the map. This was accomplished with success and satisfaction of the member participants. The artist was very creative, responsive, flexible, met all schedules throughout the project and within budget. The project team, and club membership would highly recommend her and her company!

I can’t say enough about the wonderful job Erin Castelan of Magnificent Murals did on the entire back wall of our house. First of all, she was very careful to get a good and detailed idea of what we wanted. She gave us some options when we were a little stuck, and showed us photos of some of the flowers and animals we chose, to make sure the models she was using resembled what we had in mind. And she worked so hard and was so dedicated. It was November, almost frosty, but she would be out there first thing in the morning and late into the night, trying to get our vision up before Christmas. She checked with us regularly to see if what she was doing worked for us. And what beautiful work! The pictures say it all. She even volunteered to do two extra side walls that were not included originally, and worked a couple of personally significant details into the scene, including an old pet that’s not around any more and is missed. Every time we eat outside we get to see our beautiful painted garden - even if nothing is in bloom at that season - the waterfall, the pool with its lily pads and dragonflies and a koi or two - and it makes us smile. We have even caught bugs buzzing along the wall, trying to get to the painted flowers! They are that realistic. We are completely happy with the job she did. We would recommend her to anybody.
