Synergy Metalworks

We love working with Cara at Synergy Metalworks!! She has done multiple projects for us in 2016 including a glass and metal masterpiece for our deck and a gorgeous live edge and metal bar height table for our basement! Cara is a blast to brainstorm and create with and takes our crazy random ideas and turns them them into beautiful, functional pieces that are meant to be shared! She is awesome!!!

I am such a fan!!! Synergy Metalworks makes some of the most unique pieces, all 1 of a kind and come with a story from the mix of new and recycled materials.... Cara is so creative and whether its a piece she came up with on her own or a custom piece you are never disappointed in the end product.... I own pieces (table and custom ottoman frame), family members have items and I have pieces my design showroom.. Great Find!!!!

Cara's work is amazing! She is so talented! I met Cara at Farmer's Market and purchased one of her custom Wine torches. I loved it so much I got 3 more to use as gifts and everyone who has received one has loved them as well. Recently I asked Cara about taking that same design and creating some custom light fixtures for the home we are building this summer (2016). I had not been able to find anything exactly like I wanted or at a reasonable cost. She responded immediately, we met and she had a prototype within 10 days! She created a 24" sphere with 6 lights that will hang over our dining table and she mirrored the same design in smaller version (approx. 12-14" diameter) for two pedestal lights for over the island. They are INCREDIBLE and I can't wait to hang them. Her craftsmanship is unmatched! She was so easy to work with, offered suggestions, and turned around the project much quicker than expected, at a very reasonable cost. If you have not checked out her work, you must! I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed! I have several more projects I intend to work with her on in the future! As soon as I have these amazing and unique lights hung I will post the pictures!

After seeing some of Cara's work I contacted her to make some french doors for my basement. I gave her a general idea / example of what I wanted them to look like and she took it from there. She took measurements and provided me with a mock-up of what the doors would look like if I decided to proceed, which I did. The doors are very well made and very heavy. They're the focal point of my basement and I can't even begin to tell you the amount of compliments I get on them. Whenever we host guests it's all they can talk about. Don't let the steampunk look fool you though, these doors are made for performance. They're stuffed with sound dampening insulation and Cara added automatic door sweeps to further soundproof the room. One door weighs over 200lbs and the other weighs a little under 200. I know because I was so shocked at how difficult they were to move I weighed them. I was so pleased with the final product I had Synergy Metalworks make me two tables to compliment the doors. These of course looked phenomenal so I then had two steel hanging, sculptures?? I guess, made. Not only does Cara produce awesome unique products but she has always been very punctual and accommodating when arranging a pick-up or dropoff of a product.
