When my mother passed away recently I inherited my grandmothers antique armoire. Parts of it had been painted bright pink and it was in definite need of repair. I had no idea what to do with it, what kind of wood it was or or whether it was worth being restored. I was also new to Montana and had no idea who to entrust it to. I began calling restoration businesses and had discounted a number of them when I ran across Rocky Mountain Furniture Restoration and the rest is history:) I am so pleased to write this recommendation. My experience with RMFR from beginning to end was an amazing journey. Steve Parker, the ramrod of this outfit, was from the beginning the quintessential professional as well as understanding, knowledgeable and patient. He answered all of my emails and the questions therein promptly and with a sincere appreciation for my particular circumstances as they related to this matter...which, of course, were of significant importance to me. Little did I know that Steve was just the tip of the iceberg. I had yet to meet Bill, the artistic genius who took apart, repaired, stripped, stained and re-assembled my armoire. No other more knowledgeable and caring craftsman exists, I am sure. Bill worked tirelessly on my piece and kept me informed via emails and texts every step of the way. I cannot express how pleased I am with the results of Bill's painstaking work. I also learned from Bill that my piece was made in probably the late 1800's maybe early turn of the century and was built to be disassembled for portability...meaning it has numerous pieces. To help me Bill typed up step by step instructions so I could easily re-assemble it once I had it back home. I love this company. Your antiques couldn't be in more caring and capable hands.

I have a set of 4 antique chairs that Rocky Mountain Furniture Restoration and Design restored for me. The chairs date from the 1890's and are quite fragile. Recently one of them was damaged and I took it back to get it repaired. I have been pleased with the work they did given the condition of the chairs and the amount of use they get.

Owner provided a contact who could do caning replacement for heirloom chair for my 84 year old mother. Invaluable information. The chair is restored and stunning.
