A few years ago, we purchased a new fixer in San Francisco for our primary residence and selected Linnea to be our architect. We already completed a few small projects within the house, and we just started the construction of a significant backyard addition project. Linnea designed all these projects and successfully managed the entire permitting work. Selecting Linnea to be our architect was one of the best decisions we could have made. We really appreciate Linnea’s creativity and her ability to build unique design that is meticulously thought out. The systematic manner in which she approached each and every portion of the design allowed all the pieces to come together magnificently. Communication lines were always open and clear resulting in stressless experience throughout the entire process. Linnea’s capacity to quickly respond to any concern during the construction is extremely helpful and her focus and dedication and her client-oriented approach is truly remarkable. Working with Linnea on my house remodel exceeded my expectations - I love the results! Linnea really paid attention to our aesthetics and functional needs. Hanging plants and organic shapes were among the design references I showed her - I was delighted to discover that she incorporated a covered patio with a wisteria trellis when I asked her for a backyard with shade. Prior to the remodel, we had a cramped kitchen and a formal dining room that didn’t get much use. Linnea combined the two rooms to create a floor plan tailored to our needs. The new space is functional and full of light while maximizing storage. Linnea strategized the architectural plans so we could make the best use of existing footprint, adding an extra room to an unused space, and getting our permit quickly approved. Her construction sets were organized and clear, setting me up for a smooth permitting process and minimal hiccups during the construction phase. As a well rounded architect/designer. Linnea is able to think ahead - she was able to show us how furniture would fit into our space, hence incorporating electrical and window details to our interiors. Linnea was an essential part of our successful remodel and I am excited to see what’s next for her!

The best decision we made for our remodel was hiring Linnea as our architect. First and foremost, her skill for looking at a space and seeing the possibilities is incredible. We bought a 1970s fixer with a very ugly flat front, in a fantastic neighborhood that ticked a lot of boxes but needed a lot of work. I knew it had potential, but Linnea was able to translate that potential into an actual vision and incredibly thoughtful and stunning warm contemporary design. She has been incredibly collaborative throughout our design and renovation process, scaling back in some areas to accommodate budget restrictions, while maintaining the most important elements from both a functional and an aesthetic perspective. Second, she has been hugely instrumental in the construction process itself. We would, quite frankly, be lost without her. Despite extensive research and interviews, we found ourselves with a general contractor who was not at the level we wanted and expected. Linnea has handled a very challenging GC with grace, kindness and professionalism while always advocating for us and our project, and insisting that the job be done right - as designed. She had gone far above and beyond what is strictly in her job description to help make sure this project gets done properly. We are so grateful for support and assistance through an incredibly stressful process. Finally, she's just a wonderful person. She is smart, kind, and truly a pleasure to work with. After a very long time, our project is nearing completion, and we are so happy we have had Linnea on the team.

Linnea just gets it. I thought it would be hard for a Designer to really understand the style and vision to incorporate, but the whole project was seamless. Linnea was very efficient with her time and created a gorgeous product. At every meeting I feel like we accomplished exactly what we set out to and everything was consistently moving forward. Our family has thoroughly enjoyed the space for every three years and everything still feels fresh and current. Everyone who comes over always compliments our finishes and the vibe of our home. It’s perfect.

Linea has been a pleasure to work with. She’s a good listener and executes on her promises. She has great taste and catered to our needs. She’s designed our office space and our home. She picked out all the finishes, furnishings, and the entire design/style of our building.
