Denver Pergola Systems installed our StruXure this past summer and it was a great experience. We have a relatively small 10x20 patio that really needed some flexible shade, and had explored a few options locally. Bob and his team made the process easy for us. They guided us through the technology and options available which would match our needs. The planning was fast and friendly which was nice. The installation was equally smooth - the team was careful to take care of our patio and house, and were in and out within a day. There was one change to the plans which came up as they got into it (as with many home projects), but they identified a solution, walked us through it, and implemented without any added cost. Two days after installation, we got hit by a crazy rain and hail storm - not a scratch on the pergola! We're very happy with the pergola and the process, would recommend!

We purchased 2 pergola’s along with outer screens and ceiling fans for each pergola. Bob Monzel did a site evaluation and made his recommendations regarding how these pergola’s would best address the issue of mitigating excessive the summer heat on the back of our home. We wanted a covering for our deck but did not want the expense of reconfiguring windows on our house to build a roof. Within a day, Bob came to our house, showed us samples, measured our deck, and provided us with an estimate to build our pergola system. A few months later, the custom-made materials arrived at our house and, working around and through the snow and cold, Bob and his crew had our deck covering in place within a couple of weeks. We have been absolutely thrilled with the service and our new StruXure system that we can open to let the sunshine in, or close to keep the wet weather out. In fact, we have had Denver Pergola out several times since that initial installation to purchase and install motorized screens and mounted heat lamps. When it came time to replacing our deck, we were in search of a solution that enabled us to be outdoors more often. We had a retractable awning before, but it only gave us limited shade in the morning and we had to retract it when it got breezy. We thoroughly researched the vendors for a few month and came across Denver Pergola Systems. The Struxure Pivot 6 was exactly what we needed. Our project included installing a 16X21 metal pergola, automated louvers, Infratech heaters, recessed lighting, fan, TV mount, and retractable screens . This setup allowed us to use our outdoor space in sun, rain, snow, or wind. We have dinning set and a sitting area under the pergola. We grill at least one meal a day or just use the area as an extended family room to watch TV or entertain friends. We had a fantastic experience working with Denver Pergola Systems. Bob Monzel was incredibly professional and offered great advice beginning with the design phase through the entire construction process of our Pergola. He was very responsive to any and all questions we had and respectful of our opinions. Through meticulous management of the crews and the schedules, they took all of the stress out of the project. Bob was very detailed in our discussions before quoting the finished product. When the pergola, fan and heaters arrived, he showed up with his crew the next day. They all worked hard in hot, uncompromising weather and did not delay finishing the work. Results: An excellent job. The pergola looks like it was designed for our house and built at the same time. No odd joining points, very clean corners. The colors suggested by Bob were also an excellent match. The previous pergola, stained dark brown/black to match the door and window trims, absorbed a lot of light from our glass doors. Now the light bounces off the lighter colored (Adobe) louvers even when they're closed and the louvers look stunning against the matte black posts and frame. Usage: We've closed the roof while having dinner outside when it began to rain. After the rain stopped, the air was heavy and warm. We opened the roof and ran the fan, resulting in cool air surrounding us. We've had rain several times and it's a real joy to not scurry inside with our guests while eating and relaxing. Everyone who has come over has been happily surprised at the difference the addition of high quality pergola has made. We have a cooler temperature on that side of the house and plenty of light with the louvers open or bounced light with them closed. Idea: For a 20' wide patio, I requested an additional post. Instead of centering the middle post at the required 10' maximum distance, I spaced the posts 5ft-10ft-5ft to give me a center view where I could create a vignette with a fountain, fireplace and/or landscape.

Bob and his crew did an amazing job!!! The pergola was completed yesterday and we were able to sit out all evening in the heat of the day. It has turned our patio into an extra useable room. Highly recommend!

We were interested in building some sort of pergola in our backyard, in the afternoon we were unable to comfortably enjoy being outdoors due to our southwest exposure. We purchased the StruXure pergola system in July 2020. We wanted something maintenance free that would last a long time. We also were looking for the flexibility the adjustable louvers offer. We love the system, so happy we did this! From beginning to end, working with Bob and his team was fantastic. Very professional, courteous, and thorough. We HIGHLY recommend the product and going with Bob!

My husband and I decided to completely redo our backyard last year, wanting to extend the feeling of the house and yet still be able to open up the space to sun and stars. Bob and Denver Pergola Systems came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Little did we imagine just how wonderful it would be to open up to sun and stars on a sunny day or clear evening. Denver Pergola Systems built the best home improvement project I could have ever imagined! It’s like Mother Nature handed over the remote and now we control the weather over our home!
