I had my kitchen counter installed in spring 2014. The under-the-counter sink was installed as well. A short time later, the sink gave way. I called them back to redo it which they did at no charge. It was difficult tracking them down. I had to do all the work in that respect. Then on Dec. 31, the sink gave way again. I called several times and they are going to charge me $150 to $200 for a service call. After this has happened twice in six years, I don't want to deal with it again in 2025! They do not stand behind their work. As I type this, I remember them coming to deal with chips in the quartz too. I do not recommend this company.

Please share your recent experience with Orlando from Stone Sense. I thought I would receive my counter tops today but instead he told me that he just received the drawings. I regret taking a chance and going with this company and now realize I'm in for a long dirty fight to get a simple countertop installed. I will ask for my $1000 if he does not come up with answers quickly.

Avoid! I only got half of my countertop installed and the other half was lost in their warehouse. I have been trying to get my remaining piece, always with a different excuse as to why the owner, Orlando, doesn’t have it or can’t do the job. It has been over seven months and Orlando now no longer answers phone calls or letters and refuses to finish the job or return my money for the unfinished part of the work. Save yourself the headache and go to a reputable place! UPDATE: Stone sense finally came in October to install my stone. Work completed to my satisfaction, albeit six months late.

We were so fortunate to find Betty Lin at Stone Sense to help us design our ensuite bathroom, main bathroom and upstairs flooring. Betty's ability to listen and hear what we wanted resulted in a design that is modern and represents the ideas that we wanted, and has unique features that Betty designed. The colours and patterns that she helped us pick for our tiled walls/floors, quartz countertops, quartz corner shower shelfs and marble shower floors were beautifully matched and blends well with the matte silver grey hardwood floors giving us the modern look we were going for. We were able to create a custom hidden space beside the waterfall countertop that allowed for a clothes hamper...amazing! On top of this, Stone Sense had the best prices in town with fast and professional delivery & installation services. We are more than happy with our remodelling experience with Betty and her team at Stone Sense. I highly recommend Betty and Stone Sense for your next home renovation project. Julius

We were referred to Stonesense by our cabinet maker and we simply could not be happier. Stonesense supplied our tiles and supplied and installed our counter, sink and faucet. The prices were very fair and the turnaround between templating and installation of the counter was fast. The final product and quality of work speak for themselves. Orlando and Betty were patient and considerate throughout the contract, consistently taking our calls and helping us whenever needed. We would highly recommend Stonesense to anyone looking to complete a renovation.

Excellent service! Orlando and Betty are very nice to help us choosing right granite and marble for our new house. They fabricated and installed all granite counter tops, ceramic tiles for my new bathrooms and kitchens, especially the center island which is huge and complicated shape/circle cut. They did a beautiful job. They also have good source to import high quality Brazilian mahogany that is very hard to find in Ottawa. They supply and installed over 4000 thousand sqf Santos Mahogany to prompt my new house to higher class and value. Much appreciated guys!

I was referred by a friend to go and see Stonesense the price is very good, I purchased a granite countertops,customers service was excellent, service was magnificent it was amazing how fast my countertops was installed they told me in a week will be the installation and in a week was installed I really recommend Stonesense

We have been thinking of renovating our kitchen for a long time, were not sure of where to get the counter top. We were pleased to find the "Stonesense". There is a quite a variety of granite with varying price ranges. We had the pleasure to work with Betty, who was very professional and gave us valuable advice along the way and prompt in answering our questions. She also encouraged us to go the supplier's warehouse to pick our granite. The Staff from the Stonesense arrived right on time for measurement and installation. The installation was perfect and now is the centerpiece for our remodeled kitchen. We would highly recommend Stonesese based on our experience.

We selected Stonesense to provide Quartz countertops for our bathrooms because they had the best prices. Service was good until we made a 50% deposit and he actually had to do some work. When it was time for him to come and template he took more than a week to show up. Missed appointments. Finally he came and "templated" using a tape measure! Accuracy? He insisted we add a backsplash and side splashes. This was obviously to help hide inaccuracies in his measure/cutting. He told us it would take 2 weeks before he could come and install. Six weeks and many excuses later we still had nothing. It will be here next week was the usual answer. Never any apologies. Every phone call ended with "I will call you back" but he never ever did. So frustrating! We finally cancelled and got our deposit back. Thank goodness! Worst customer service ever. Worst communicator ever. And never his fault. I gave this place one star because I could not pick zero! Do not use this place.
