Antares Tile

We used Antares for our master bathroom remodel. Steve does amazing work. We now have a beautiful master bathroom with heated floors and a linear shower drain, which means our shower floor and the rest of the bathroom floor are continuous tile. All this and for a more reasonable cost than other bids. We couldn’t be more pleased.

We accidentally found Antares Tile website after having had a bad experience trying to get a quote from another company for the remodel of a traditional shower with a 3-inch high step into the shower pan. We wanted a sleek, new, zero-barrier or walk-in shower that one can find in some new builds, but rarely find in older homes. We decided to give this guy--Steve of Antares Tile-- a try as he advertised himself as a specialist in linear drains. Very few people do this type of install except for ADA companies and we did not want the institutional look that ADA companies typically do. We kept our expectations low so as to not be disappointed. What a surprise we got! Steve came out promptly and discussed the job with us. We hired him on the spot. He began work shortly afterwards. What we soon learned was that we had hired a real pro with lots of years of experience, with lots of useful updated ideas and suggestions, and with a natural creative artistic talent. The decorative choices were our own, but we had trouble visualizing how everything would go together. He was able to put it all together consulting us along the way, by an exchange between the three of us of numerous ideas and the result was a pleasant and wonderful outcome. He thought of things that never occurred to us. Our mid-century modern taste combined with his knowledge of the latest techniques and styles, produced a beautiful bathroom that was way beyond our expectations. We had a great working relationship with Steve and his design flexibility made everything special. We can't say enough about his work ability and his kind nature. He started with an extensive remodel of our master bath. We subsequently hired him to finish another smaller bath, and then put him to work in redoing our kitchen--3 projects in all. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found such a good, versatile, knowledgable person, who is smart, talented, and reliable. It gives us great pleasure to highly recommend him.
