My wife and I used Steve Finger to build our home back in 2014. The process from choosing finishes and meeting with vendors was quite enjoyable as Steve took the stress out of it. We always had direct communication with him and all the work was done in a timely manner. Its obvious Steve is passionate about his work as he takes great pride in his projects. Even after we closed, Steve remained in touch to make sure we were happy and to take care of any issues that may have come up. We definitely recommend Steve for any home project.

We purchased a home designed and built by Steve Finger Custom Homes back in 2015. Out of the dozens of homes visited, we felt that the design decisions made by Steve were top-notch. From the window placements, appliance selection, and the material selection and installation, we are very happy with his custom home. Steve was also very easy to work with on customizations and offered a warranty on the materials and workmanship. We highly recommend him as your choice for a beautiful home.

Working with Steve was a very good experience. While building our house, he was very flexible in providing options on the allowances that really allowed us to customize the home to be exactly what was best for us. He was able to make several adjustments to the original plans and was very transparent about the cost impact (up or down). After moving in he continued to be helpful even though there was no further obligation for him to pick up the phone when we called. Class act. Between our hectic schedules and Steve’s and his teams the communication could get hectic at times, which is understandable. But there was always communication! Which is huge when building a home. We were in constant contact about updates, delay’s, etc…Never caught off guard. What do you think of the level of service and communication after the sale? Above and beyond anyone I’ve ever built with. As previously stated Steve wants to make sure you and your family are happy with your home. My husband and I worked with Steve to build our current home (3,400 sq. ft. home in Oak Forest). This was our first experience building a house and Steve made the process very easy. Steve was always available to meet us at the construction site to go over our selections, changes and answer the many questions we had throughout the process. Steve was also very flexible allowing us to purchase some of the finishing items on our own and applying the left over allowance towards other upgrades. Building a home was not an easy task as there are many decisions that need to be made, but Steve made the process enjoyable and we just absolutely love the finished product.

We loved working with Steven Finger Custom Homes. We love our new home and expect to be here for a long time. Steve took the time to listen to what we wanted, and he made sure the quality was top of the line. Our house is not cookie cutter, and our guests always comment on how beautiful it is.
