Amir Z., our project manager, was easy and pleasant to work with. He communicated well with me and their subcontractors. Both Amir and Steve K., SK owner, quickly responded to and resolved my questions. Steve effectively guided changes to my original design to ensure our master bath layout is both functional and beautiful. We are very pleased with our remodeled master bathroom.

In short, Steve is amazing. We purchased a new home in the fall of 2022 which was only 10 years old, however the décor and style were outdated, and required an immediate refresh. As anyone could imagine, the process of a starting a remodel project throughout an entire house can be immediately overwhelming with no idea where to start. In comes Steve to save the day. We were referred to Steve through a family friend and trusted source, which was important because we really needed someone to guide us through this process. Upon our first meeting with Steve at the house, we knew we were in great hands. We walked from room to room as we discussed our thoughts, ideas and goals in terms of our vision and scope of work. Steve was very patient, especially when we started to get overwhelmed, to let us know this process is his expertise and that he will guide us every step of the way. No truer words have ever been spoken. As we made design decisions, Steve had the right contact to assist, everything from paint options to bathroom facets to cabinet/island designs. Additionally, as the project was underway, he would let us know in advance of what material was needed in plenty advance to ensure decisions were made and also accounted for delivery time. Whenever we had questions, he picked up the phone every time!!!! The execution was top notch and we felt taken care of every step of the way. We would recommend Steve to anyone thinking of a renovation or addition to their home and would 100% use his services again.

A year and a half ago I reached out to Steve (and a bunch of other contractors) for a bid on what I thought was a straightforward project. He very quickly and rightfully so burst that bubble. Fast forward, we end up using an architect, getting plans and permits and then shop around for contractors again to see who might be the best match. Steve blew the other contractors away. He never tried to upsell us, never tried to tell us our vision was bad (though he is not shy when it comes to providing his opinion). The two most valuable pieces you get when working with Steve: #1 he always had your back, wether it was calling out poor design choices , not charging us for small changes or showing up during the weekend when we had vagabonds break into our house #2 he’s a straight shooter. Like it or not Steve will tell you his POV which is backed by experience and you can take it or leave it. We’re absolutely thrilled with our house and did not regret working with Steve once. If we had more budget he’d be putting in our pool right now.

Steve Kossover of SK Home Designs was the best decision my husband and I ever made when it came to renovating our home. We were brand new to this process. Like many, we had heard horror stories from friends about their own renovation experiences with other contractors who were hard to get a hold of, projects that took months longer than promised or made costly mistakes. Let me tell you, working with Steve alleviated all of these fears. He NAILED this project for us. He came through on time, on budget with incredible work under the most straining circumstances. I'll explain: We just bought a nearly 3,000 sq ft house that needed a lot of work inside. We had 1 month to get the work done as I was 8 months pregnant and we needed to move in with enough time to get settled before the baby was due. The house needed all new flooring, pop corn ceiling scraped (it was everywhere!), wall paper removed, recessed lighting put in, new light switches throughout, new stair railing and all new interior paint... and job that easily should have taken 6-8 weeks, Steve and his crew got done in 3.5 weeks. I kid you not. We got a quote from Steve the first week of May 2021, locked him in on May 5th and the work was complete by Memorial Day weekend - less then 4 weeks later. The only element we waited on were popping in new windows in the down stairs, which were on back order with the window company due to high demand - but this didn't not prevent us from meeting our goal of moving in and getting settled before baby arrived. We were able to move in as planned on June 4th and our baby arrived (at home!) on July 5th - 4 days after his due date. Without Steve and his incredible communication and insane dedication to his clients and his craft, our plans to bring our son earthside in our new home wouldn't have been possible. Steve will forever be our guy. We have major plans for this house and we can't wait to take on the next project with Steve soon.

It is always a pleasure to work with Steve! We first worked with Steve on a major sunroom remodel, which converted an outdated (and ironically cavelike) room into our favorite space in the house! In simple terms, Steve gets the job done well and he gets it done right. With decades of experience, Steve presents you with your options in a transparent and accessible manner. Steve completed a full remodel of our kitchen and master bath. He was excellent and we would highly recommend him! We received his name through a referral and when we first met, before we signed a contract with him, he spent over 2 hours with us answering questions and providing information to ensure we were comfortable with him and the process. My husband and I have never done a full remodel like this so we had many questions and I was concerned about reliability – we didn’t want someone who would cut corners or worse yet, start but leave the job in the midst of the construction to move on to a bigger job. We signed the agreement and got the work completed and Steve was amazing! He was responsive, always returning calls right away, he continued to answer all of our questions, he was helpful and extremely reliable. I don’t normally write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for SK Home Designs and Remodeling. Just like many, I’ve read reviews from other construction companies and got disheartened by all these bad contractors that I didn’t have any confidence to go forward on my big job with anyone. I met with a couple of contractors and truly didn’t feel they were the right fit for my home. I was then referred by my best friend regarding Steve and his company. He did a great job on my friend’s addition and home remodel, I felt I had to give Steve a chance to listen to what he had to offer. Needless to stay, he said all the right things, including things I hadn’t thought about. I had him renovate my 3,000 sqft home and build a 650 sqft addition in Bel Air. He was on top of this job from the beginning, meeting his demo crew and subs to get this job running. This job took about 8 months and had some delays with inspections and some of the finishes my wife ordered were backordered, but Steve kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. They were a bit more then others, but we knew Steve was worth it and we were right. My kitchen came out amazing and the 3 bathrooms were beautiful. It passed my wife’s approval. The 3 bedrooms looked great plus our master bedroom kept us breathless along with the master bathroom. I’m very happy and thankful to my friend for referring Steve to us. We hired Steve to completely gut and remodel our master and guest/kid bathrooms. The master has a shower and 72" semi-custom vanity and the second bathroom is a bath/shower combo. Steve came highly recommended from a friend and we are thankful for her recommendation. Steve and his team did a stellar job! The quality of the work is A+. Steve was very communicative and explained each step of the project from beginning to end. This was helpful since this was the first construction/remodel job we have done on our home. During the remodel, there was a big rain storm that caused leakage through the roof and into our bathroom. Steve had his team repair the damage without question and patiently waited for the water to dry before continuing with work. All of Steve's teams were punctual (showed up at 8am every day!), courteous and professional. They did excellent work. We were especially pleased with the tile work. We highly recommend SK Home Designs and would use this company again for future work.

I hired Steve to re-paint the interior of my home, as well as replacing the track lighting and switching bulbs to LED. Steve was always on time, and got the job done within the window he had promised. He visited the site everyday to make sure things were moving along and getting done properly. I was very happy with everything that was done. Steve is friendly, accommodating and fun to work with. I would definitely use him again for future projects.

After many bids on my Santa Barbara home, I was delighted with Steve’s proposal.... Not only was my kitchen in dire need of a complete upgrade...so were my two bathrooms and my closets.... I had left him in charge of everything, I wanted to keep the original character and charm of the beach house, however I also wanted to bring it up to date... When I arrived after the work was finished, I was absolutely taken aback at the artistry and planning, He had created what I visualized and I cannot be happier! He’s an artist! Nobody is Perfect. But Steve Kossover and his team, comes very close. I interviewed 6 contractors, with SK Home Designs & Remodeling coming in at lucky #6. I had a huge burden on my shoulders, being in charge of my parents/family 30 year home renovation. I took this very seriously. Steve and I met in person at the home for about 2 hours. Had several phone calls and met a final time at a location of my choosing, to discuss the budget. Entire home renovation was 118k with some change orders (as I learned, this means the changes to the reno that the customer made/requested after the budget is set). Started on Aug 20 and although we do have to finish the kitchen backsplash, install the vent hood above the range, and do touchup paint, the home finished on Dec 14th. Rain pushed the job a bit, as did my change orders, as did a party I had scheduled. But it wasn't anything to be concerned about. Steve always made me feel comfortable during the entire process, returning my calls, calling me when he had updates or questions. This is a scary process, for people who have never done anything like this and don't know where to begin, Steve held my hand without being condescending, or frustrated with me. Not once. Something I was immensely afraid of, is stories like a renovation nightmare that belongs to a friend of my mothers, who started renovating in February 2018 and their project is still going on to now Dec 2018. Of course without knowing the details, I'm sure not having the right contractor is a huge factor. Steve is the right contractor. Excellent work! If you want a job well done, hire Steve. From our initial bid meeting, to the conclusion of our project, Steve took the time to explain every step of the building process and was upfront and honest about timelines and price. He worked around our demanding schedule and made sure that each step of our project was finished to the highest of standards. Steve oversaw repairs to several balcony leaks, the patching of 3 floors of drywall holes due to running internet cables, and a completely new paint job. Due to his hard work our house looks whole again, fresh and dry. From balconies, to drywall patches, to paint, Steve did an amazing job.

Steve makes recommendations as to the caliber of materials to use and brings in the best craftsmen to complete the job. During the condo remodel, we were still living there during construction. The crew made sure to respect our privacy, and the did a great job at sealing off the work area to prevent dust from entering our living space. Our most recent project was our new home in Brea. When deciding who should handle such a big project, we knew we didn’t want anyone but Steve handling the job. We had two bathrooms to completely gut and remodel. We made upgrades to the electrical and updated the home with 43 recessed LED lights. We also replaced all of the flooring in the house with a beautiful laminate that rivals hardwood flooring and painted all of the rooms. From the electricians to our painting crew, and to our flooring team, we were impressed with their expertise and professionalism. The teams showed up on time and worked hard to get the job done beautifully. We have been happy with the results. I have referred friends to Steve as well. One of my friends hired him to complete a total remodel of her master suite and guest bath. Both turned out gorgeous and she even had his crew paint the exterior of her home after the first two projects. I know she also regards Steve as a true professional! As we have further work, we will count on Steve to manage our future projects. We know that Steve will consistently delivery the integrity, customer service, and expertise we count on in a contractor.

I was impressed with Steve right from the start when he returned my call on the same day that I left a message for him. I appreciated that he really listened to what I was wanting done in my home and he in turn asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for in a contractor. He was very attentive to the job site and checked in with me often and also physically came to the job site regularly to make sure that everything was being done like it was supposed to be. He was very organized with his paperwork and very communicative with the progression of how the job was going to happen. Overall he did excellent work and all of his sub contractors were very pleasant and respectful. My wife and are a thrilled with the work Steve and his team did on our two bathrooms. It's been a month or so since completion and the craftmanship still makes us smile each day. All of the workers used were extremely professional and we never had any personal conflict or troubling issues with Steve or his guys. Of course, as with any project, there were minor snafus and various issues, but they were all handled with professionalism and diligence and eventually the problems were solved. Steve Kossover remodeled my kitchen, powder room, bar and replaced all the flooring. The results are amazingly beautiful and the workmanship is excellent. His workers were there every day and so was he. Steve watched over the workers to make sure they did a good job, and their work was of the highest caliber. I highly recommend him for any remodeling job needed. He also had our longtime and inoperable pool cover removed and the pool area looks wonderful as a result. This was no small feat as the pool cover was rolled up and buried in the ground and the huge hole that was left had to be filled in and cemented over. The work done was perfect. My kitchen and powder room and pool area are now updated and lovely. Thank you, Steve.

From the moment we met with Steve, to the final inspection day, our experience with him and his crew was, in a word, "smooth". Steve was always available, reachable, to answer questions, walk and talk us through difficult moments, and help make critical decisions during the upgrading process of our master bathroom. Steve worked as the designer and project manager of our bathroom remodel. His ideas about the redesign of the bathroom were exciting because he pointed out possibilities that I had not considered, like replacing a solid wall with a pony wall, removing a window in the shower that didn't serve any real purpose, a new placement of the shower head and control and the placement and size of the bench. Steve was responsive to my every question and comment. He communicated with me regularly. Most important to me was that the workers clean-up and be conscientious about my dogs and my back gate, and they did. I liked that Steve also visited my home daily or almost daily. He knows the code requirements, met deadlines and his budget estimates were right on. I recommend Steve and his team highly.

-SK Remodeling is so Awesome! First of all, the quality of our remodel is amazing and the house looks brand new! We were very pressed for time and wanted to get our project done before moving in the house. This meant the guys at SK only had one month to complete two bathrooms , kitchen counter top , interior paint , floors , and some electrical work. They definitely did it! We were a little apprehensive at first because it just didn't seem doable. We are so very happy we decided to go for it! They provided great service, they were quick, and super helpful. When we bought our home last year, one of the first priorities was redoing the master bathroom. I wanted a modern, zen space that felt almost like a retreat every time I stepped in. We interviewed quite a few contractors and while Steve was at the higher end of the price spectrum, I appreciated the fact that he did a 3D rendering for us, had lots of experience and clearly "got" my vision. After we hired Steve, I can't say enough about his level of professionalism, his availability and quick responsiveness to my texts. The job took about 3.5 weeks and he was always there, checking in on the work, overseeing his guys (who were top notch, btw - always cleaning up after themselves and working efficiently). Steve did some work on my mothers home, including replacing her hardwood floors. My mother was ill and needed special assistance and he went out of his way countless times to help her - including some personal favors which were not part of his job. I can't believe how lucky we were to find him since I could not be there to manage the project. After speaking with him a few times I trusted him 100%. He stepped into a chaotic situation with patience and grace and delivered a beautiful finished product. There were many obstacles (all completely out of his control and unrelated to him) and Steve went above and beyond to make sure he got the job done perfectly on a tight deadline. Not only did he and his workers display artisan craftsmanship, but they were kind and wonderful to work with. If I ever do additional work on my moms house there is no question about it - I would never hire anyone else. I highly recommend him to anybody looking for a trustworthy and experienced contractor.

Inspection of a property that we were purchasing, reveled major issues (sewer, leak from the shower to underneath the house, electrical problem, to mention a few) with the property, that were a "deal breaker". Steve, who was highly recommended, reviewed the issues, provided a reasonable proposal. Once awarded the job, Steve and his crew, completed the job professionally and delivered the high quality promised. We will definitely use Steve again and will highly recommend him. I would highly recommend Steve Kossover with SKHome Designz, he was great to work with! He went over every detail with me, the job was completed on time and he answered any questions I had. Even all of the workers he sent over to do the demo, tile and finish work were on time. They cleanup after themselves each day which was really nice too. I had my mother's older bathroom with a 3 sided corner shower remodeled so the whole bathroom is now a shower. By having this done, we can bathe her with the waterproof wheel chair in the bathroom. I'm very pleased with the job that was done.

The contractors were professional, friendly, and timely with all their appointments and interactions with us. The work was pretty thorough; we were able to discuss modifications and make changes to the original plans as needed, with some arm twisting at times, but it was done with a smile :)... The permits and all the leg work was handled efficiently by the contractors team. The job was a bit overpriced. All in all, great work and efficiency.

Mucho thanks to Steve Kossover of SK Home DesignZ who just wrapped up for my family a fantastic major main-floor remodel that absolutely transformed our c. 1990 simple (but ample) modern home in to a beautiful and very personal utterly new style of POST post-modern home. No small task taking us from 1990 to 2016 almost as if overnite. For the house we bought three years ago was built pretty economically it appeared (and you could tell) and certainly lacked character, distinctive detailing or any feeling of stunning residential interior design, much less with any real comfort nor the casual family-style-type feeling and comfort we were looking for. Having some experience in design myself, i knew this was possible if we just had the right "partner" to help us design and plan and build (and price out in advance most importantly) our design dreams. I just needed to find the right design partner I guess or have my design-alter-ego magically appear ! Shouldn't it be that simple ? lol. Essentially, that's how our story regarding meeting Steve occurred. We had a couple years back called him in just randomly to look at enlarging an all too small and basic shower-tub arrangement in our second bathroom. By the end of that first meeting, which lasted a good three and one-half hours, i realized clearly Steve was nothing like what i was expecting to meet. Consequently, by the end of that very first meeting, i felt confident we were ready to rip out not only that entire ugly bathroom altogether, but jump right on ahead to include our Master Bath which was just about as lacking despite a generous overall plan foot-print. So, we were off and running and ultimately we had Steve remodel entirely both bathrooms including a super-size floating glass enclosed shower a separate quite large spa tub, custom new cabinets, countertop all the way throught to handsome new lighting fixtures and architectural wall-mirroring. It was a great experience as i wrote a couople years back in my first HOUZZ reference for Steve. He had every resource available from stone and tile, to fixtures and hardware, to cabinets, lighting, plumbing as well as surface materials and textures and even colors. One of our neighbors in a nearly identical house to ours couldn't believe what we had achieved in basically these same bathrooms. Well, two years later, our just completed totally new home includes a super size feeling new open plan kitchen, new powder room, new formal dining room, a separate casual dining bar for four, and a library/office. All flowing seamlessly thru the entire main floor of our house, not only in 2-dimensional plan, but 3-dimensionally (spatial-volumetric) as well, with the new kitchen as its hub or "bridge". Yes, this ultimately involved the partial removal of both a shear and separately a bearing wall for which Steve had all the engineering resources as well. Only because of Steve's personality and temperament did i ever imagine we would go so far as this type of remodel construction. Steve realized just like i had that only then could we capture the amazing view out the back of our hillside house and only then visually appreciate those aspects of our original architecture that were sadly hidden from view from many different vantage points. Now our two-story height spaces and rows of upper clerestory windows were visible from all thru-out the house; from the soaring entry-gallery thru to our super sleek open kitchen and on out thru the library and even our two-story height sunken living room. New glass doors thru-out and handsome and functional modern window shading all added interest, lighting effects and took what seemed like a closed essentially white box in to a beautifully faceted series of spaces flooded with light and numerous views both within and to the outdoors as well. Steve's last addition was a grand backyard multi-level entertainment deck and terraced hillside incl. a lower level fruit tree garden and finally a massive sunroof awning design that shades us as needed or transforms in to an enormous sun drenched outdoor living space. But he didn't stop there. Steve had a surprise. He created a dead-on pinpoint view from my desk seating position in the libary out to a new fairly large Japanese Maple tree we had planted in the side courtyard just the year before. I'd complained that it was a shame no one ever got to see the sizeable flat courtyard that we had already attractively landscaped. Well, Steve decided at the very least I should enjoy that view from my desk 24/7 so he arranged our library seating so that i would always be looking at this beautiful view out the side of the house, an almost private garden just for me and the dog ! Incidentally, we challenged Steve to help us coordinate some pretty eclectic and very personal choices in the way of surfaces, materials, colors and various architectural details including this beautifully unique wood wall cladding tile that wraps all the new structure revealed by our wall removals. Capped off by a handsome exposed pair of wood beams that beautifully frame these new openings. We had mentioned to Steve that here in somewhat hip and Bohemian Silverlake, we were almost hoping to create some type new vision of cabin-lodge effect superimposed on to our basically modern bones. I thought i sounded a little kooky describing this, but Steve obviously knew just what we were envisioning when he brought to the house this bas-relief wood wall material/tile. It just about knocked our socks off. i have to say it was really spot on ! It gave the house a whole new theme and story-line. We're crazy about it ! Steve truly helped us find our own unique style and version of transitional mid-century modernism i am told, but without the old fashioned furniture and fittings that look like we are back in 1972 which we just didn't care for. Steve transformed our awfully bland and simply massed modern box hilltop home in to an extraordinarily beautiful and stunning combination of really cool choices for materials, colors and unique details that make us now stare in comfortable awe at the sanctuary Steve took us by the hand and led us to. Can't recommend him enough when you might be ready for the design adventure of your lifetime, or even any home remodel project that you are planning and just need the right design partner to take it from concept to reality. Thanks again Steven for a job well-done. Ok, i'm off now to begin planning our first summer party in our new home in the hills. UPADATED ABOVE I'm under contract once again with Steve Kossover to gut-remodel our fairly large kitchen and breakfast room. Steve took us thru our two major bathroom remodels last year incl. a large Master Bath Spa that we collaboratively conceived. We were very happy both with the result and the entire process start to finish. This past month, Steve was instrumental in helping us focus and pinpoint what our kitchen remodel was all about. For instance, would we do a super open plan remodel involving removing a major bearing wall, or, would we create a formal dining room that we'd decided to turn in to a library last year when we first occupied the house; which caused us to be using our reasonably large brkfst day room AS our formal dining room which we weren't totally thrilled about. But that's the point. We have several good friends who are architects and I've queried them all regarding the many possible project of our new house. But frankly, I often found Steve just as intuitively familiar and up to speed regarding all the many possibilities, both pro and con, and most important, really helping us reach decisions that were best for us and how we actually live in our home rather than just more formal architectural considerations. And yet, those too were always in sight and carefully delineated. For me, a former interior designer myself, and a graduate of U.Tx School of Arch. M.ArchI 1985, I think that's what's been most unsual and distinctive and rewarding about working with Steven K. as I don't consider the type level dialoguing that goes on between he and his clients to be typical. I think you are elevating things to a truly professional top-flight design and build level. I didn't expect this type interaction with a contractor and I'd had quite a bit of experience with contractors in my own former career in home design and remodeling. So it was a special pleasure to get to work with Steve just as we are about to do once again next month. And I ask you, who else but Steve Kossover would know how to create aniline dye blue hi-gloss lacquer wood cabinets for our kitchen, not to mention locating for us the almost unheard of 36" induction glass cooktop in other than black as well as a finish polish concrete floor that would protect us down the road from early 1990 construction that keeps us prisoner with plumbing pipes encased within the slab. Yeah, these are the type IMPORTANT issues and details that Steve is fully knowledgeable regarding and equipped with all the necessary resources to handle even the most unusual of design wishes, all the while keeping careful track of the variable costs and bang-for-buck value of various decision and selection alternates. BTW, it was really instrumental that Steve could also take us to see various completed projects to enable us to see exactingly the quality we were paying for and the many different range of options available to us. So, I must give credit to Steve ultimately deducing how to turn a 3bdrm 2.5bath home in to a 3bdrm 3bath home WITH A SEPARATE LIBRARY AND SEPARATE FORMAL DINING ROOM. Talk about re-sale value upgrade ! I'll be posting again you can be sure once our kitchen is near completion and letting all houzz readers know how we are doing with clearly our newfound fave home design/build and remodel contractor Steve Kossover.

My wife and I have used Steve (SK Home Designz) for a complete roof replacement in 2011 prior to the current job he just completed which was a VERY large project consisting of a 464 foot add-on (including a full-kitchen remodel, master bedroom extension, cancel out/move/complete remodel of master bathroom, new master walk-in closet, new flooring throughout the house, new AC/Furnace, new tank-less water heater, new/upgrade of electrical panel, new recessed lighting, new stucco, etc.). We were very happy with the new roof so we decided to give Steve an opportunity to provide us with an estimate/quote along with the other 4-5 contractors bids we had already received (always important to shop around & see who not only gives you reasonable estimates, but who you feel comfortable & confident in as well). Cheapest is NEVER better as corners will be cut & material will be the absolute cheapest (of course they will never tell you that so be careful with trying to save money on your house which is your most important investment). Steve was not the cheapest bid by any means, the quote was on the higher end in regards to price for us, but he was not the most expensive either. The term, "You get what you pay" for is relevant in this instance and in most cases when dealing with home remodel/repair. When it came to such a large job, I did not want to go cheap or even average and I wanted to go with someone that I had the utmost confidence in as well as a certain comfort level. We were going back & forth between Steve & another contractor for our job, but ended up deciding on Steve due to the comfort level we had with him & the fact that he also is very familiar with kitchen & bathroom design (which helped out tremendously vs. hiring an interior designer). He did work with us on price a bit when comparing his quote with the other contractor we were considering. When dealing with such a large add-on with so many variables, I did not want to go cheap & I wanted a professional that could deliver in all aspects of the job. Steve fit the bill for us and he was very professional while delivering on all aspects of the job. As previously mentioned, he also was the only project manager that also assisted us with a 3D design of our kitchen & bathroom which was PRICELESS as my wife & I are both visual learners so we needed to see what everything looked like before we moved on with a commitment to the blue prints going to the city for approval (as most know, any changes thereafter can get pricey so the 3D images from Steve saved us some money even after going back & forth with changes). The job did take a bit longer than expected, but with such a large job we expected it to go over the estimated time of completion due to the city, inspectors, unforeseen issues with the project, etc.). Steve was with us every step of the way always making himself available & any issues that came up, he addressed them immediately. In conclusion, if you want to go cheap or want a "great deal", please go somewhere else where corners will be cut but I warn you, you will get what you pay for and it will cost your more in the long-term (I learned this lesson the hard way a while ago & will never make the same mistake). If you are thinking of any type of home remodel project and/or addition, especially anything that has to do with kitchen or bathroom, then Steve is your guy. Don't expect him to be the cheapest bid, but do expect him to be the absolute BEST! Steve provides a level of comfort & confidence that you need to make any project as less stressful as possible (I failed to mention that we were pregnant with our first baby during the project and Steve was very courteous & thoughtful in his approach with the project making us & our "growing family" a priority). We are completely happy with the final project and have gotten so many compliments on the work such as, "showroom kitchen", "looks like a brand new house", etc. Thanks once again Steve for taking care of us & we will definitely be in contact with you for our future home projects! Steve Kossover was referred to me by a friend. A few years ago, he worked for a company that remodeled her kitchen. He has now gone out on his own, as SK Home Designz, but she was confident I would be happy to work with him. Steve brought in Eli Romano of Romano Builders and I am extremely happy with the final product. They installed carpet in two rooms on my first floor, painted two rooms and the 3/4 bath and installed a new vanity, faucet, sink and light fixture in the 3/4 bath. The real work occurred upstairs in the master bathroom. Before, I often described it as the smallest shower I had ever seen in a master. Now, it would be fitting in a five star hotel. To achieve this stellar end result, the dressing room, bathroom and a portion of the closet had to be demolished, reconfigured and rebuilt. An entire corner of the house was gutted to the studs. Walls and doorways were moved and the shower was relocated from one wall to another. The craftsmen Steve and Eli brought in for all aspects of the project were top notched and sincerely cared about the final product. Also, the work progressed on schedule. There was no "disappearing contractor" problem. I chose the doors, vanity, tile and fixtures, but they made them work. I am extremely happy with the final product. I felt comfortable with the price given the work involved. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough and am looking forward to working with them on future projects.

SK Home Designz was fantastic! We hired them to replace our glass backsplash in our kitchen with white mosaic tile. Steve helped us every step of the way, He did an in person consultation and gave us a very affordable and fair estimate for the job and agreed to take it on, even though it was a smaller job than usual. The work was done in a timely manner-- only three days-- and we were really happy with the results. We definitely recommend them and would hire them again.
