I have worked with Sargent on two separate jobs. Each time Sargent was kind, professional, honest and easy to work with. Sargent selected beautiful colors for both clients. I'm a service provider and one can tell a lot about a professional by how they treat their vendors. I'm grateful to have worked with Sargent.

Sargent and I met on a prospective residential renovation project. While the clients decided not to move forward on the project because of site restrictions, I did have several opportunities to interact with Sargent. He had a good understanding of the design process, was easy to work with, and acted in a very professional manner. Sargent was attuned to both the needs of the house and the clients. He had done work on the home for the previous owners, and his choices were thoughtful, tasteful, and enhanced the home. While this project did not proceed, I would look forward to working with him in the future.

We were able to see the finished project that Sargent did with his client on the marble slabs and granite stone that they got from Southland Stone and it was pretty amazing. We find joy in seeing how very good designers like Sargent give justice to natural stones and turn them into beautiful pieces of art. Kudos for your design!

Sargent Pillsbury is an excellent interior designer and someone I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone needed design work in their home. His attention to detail, his exquisite taste and his ability to work within any kind of budget makes Sargent a pleasure to work with. He has an incredible eye and transformed 3 rooms into my house into gorgeous new living spaces that I love! He's super-friendly, punctual and always organized. He's easy to bounce ideas off of and really creative about how to maximize or use a space to the best of its ability. Can't recommend him more!

Sargent provided excellent design consultations on our new condo. He listened to what we were trying accomplish, and created just the space we are looking for. Next time we are looking at a design project we wouldn't think of using anyone else.

We started working with Sargent five years ago when we purchased our Montecito home. We needed help updating and making the home ours. He has contributed to everything from choosing paint colors and window treatments to full-blown remodels of sections of the home. First, Sargent helped with the re-model of our home office-- including custom built and stained cabinetry, floor coverings and furniture. We were so blown away by the results, we hired him to help re-model the whole back wing of our house including, kitchen, family room, laundry, two baths, guest suite and a bunk room. Sargent is a consummate professional and his attention to detail is over the top. He listened to our needs and got a sense of our aesthetic, but then was able to offer design suggestions that took the project to the next level. For example, the custom bold graphic carpet he selected felt over the top at first, but turned out to be the crowning glory of the space. Sargent kept the project on time and within budget, relating well to both the architect and contractor. The ending end result was beyond everyone’s expectations!

Sargent helped me with several projects in my home. Every piece came in on time and was perfect. His ideas always added to the rooms beautifully. His attention to detail kept the jobs on schedule and well done. Look forward to his services in the future.

I hired Sargent to redo a small bathroom. I was so blown-away by his work that I've since hired him for my living room and dining room and will soon ask him to complete the rest of the house. At the beginning, he spent a great deal of time with me trying to understand my tastes and what I wanted and made me feel as if we were working as a team. He designs for you and not for himself and within the confines of the budget you set. His taste is impeccable and his attention to detail will draw compliments from your family and friends. He is extremely talented and will provide design options that are truly transformative of the space. I couldn't recommend him any more highly. If you've ever looked in a design magazine and thought why can't my house look like that, hire Sargent.
