We specialize in handmade oriental rugs directly imported from all over the Orient. Both new and old rugs fill our showroom. Our Orientals include such sought-after patterns as the more traditional Heriz, Serapi, Oushak, Kashan, and Mashad. Other investment pieces include a stunning collection of fine Persian Esfahans, Nains, Tabrizes, and other such rarities. A full-time designer is available to assist in your selection and to make recommendations, while we also specialize in appraisals, cleaning, reweaving and restoring Oriental rugs. Remarkable service and selection make us a favorite among decorators and collectors throughout the country. We take pride in our practice of direct importing, cutting down the cost by cutting out the middlemen, so that we save you money. We invite you to shop our showroom.

We purchased 4 lovely antique rugs from Nilipour. They warm the space and ground the expansive wood floors. The final look is classic and elegant with the 1928 Tudor home. Thanks to Soraya for her patience and gimuidance along the way. We could not be happier.

Excellent experience overall! The owners are very knowledgeable about rugs, prices are fair, and they were extremely easy to work with. We appreciated that they let us take our rug on approval so that we could ensure it worked in our home before we purchased it. They also did a very good job cleaning our older oriental rug. Will absolutely return as a customer, and would highly recommend!

Nilipour was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The rug I bought from them is so beautiful, the colors practically glow. It makes me smile every single time I see it. Nilipour let me take home several rugs to try how they worked in my room. They also allowed an old rug as partial trade-in. All this helped make my decision easy. I appreciate that.

Saroya Nilipour helped me find the perfect Oriental rug for our garden home living room. I needed a large rug with deep blues and burgundy reds. She suggested a semi-antique Masad which I love. Saroya also helped us return a rug we had ordered on the internet which did not work for our space. I recommend Nilipour for professional service and a fair price.

Working with Soraya at Nilipour Rugs was a joy. I had wanted a more transitional rug for our dining room and she was able to edit their considerable stock to keep the choices from being overwhelming. I choose a dense wool rug from India with a Nepalese pattern which I love. She and Mr Charles delivered and installed it the next day- very good customer service!

Nilipour is one of my favorite Birmingham businesses. I purchased a Tabriz patterned rug from Soraya, and her mother last Fall. We have enjoyed it so much we returned last week, and picked up a Mahal patterned rug for our dining room from Soraya, and her father. My wife, and I will definitely continue to be repeat customers. The staff at Nilipour is extremely friendly, and their rugs are outstanding. Thanks again to Soraya for helping us pick out the Mahal; it looks great.

Soraya at Nilipour is very knowledgeable, extremely professional, and has a great personality. The quality of products at Nilipour is outstanding, and their prices are quite competitive. Highly recommend them. I've purchased 2 rugs for my home in Vestavia Hills from Nilipour, and am quite happy with them.
