i order Cumaru wood from that company, as i was redoing the flooring in my house. I had see on Pinterest a wooden board that continue on a deck and i love the effect, but was unsure of how it would work for us. The costumer service was amazing, they had very good advises and were quick to answer any questions i had. The result is amazing and i will work with them again. Five stars for Solus Lumber!!! I went searching for advice last fall while on a quest to build my dream deck and ended up purchasing 5/4x6 Garapa decking with hidden fasteners from the team at Solus. I started out very uninformed at the beginning of the process and I was amazed by the patience and knowledge of the Solus team. They answered every question I had, many long before I even purchased anything from them and ended up recommending ways to save me money! Purchasing anything online can be very intimidating, but Solus went above and beyond every step of the way to make me feel comfortable and informed. The pricing was the best I found anywhere (online or in store) and everything was delivered directly to me and in perfect condition. I can't recommend them highly enough!!

My husband and I recently purchased a large order of 5/4x6 FSC Cumaru decking and hidden fasteners for our house and new addition. Randie, was exceedingly helpful and patient with us from start to finish. She VERY patiently answered all of our questions, offered suggestions to help us save money on our order (best pricing we found anywhere delivered right to our door), and followed up even after it was delivered to ensure everything had arrived safely and that we were happy with the material. I can't recommend Solus Lumber enough. They communicated clearly throughout the entire process, which I didn't make easy because I wasn't sure which kind of decking would be best for my home renovation. Plus I was kinda nervous buying from a non-Canadian supplier, but they made everything especially easy for me. That said, I cannot wait to install my new deck with the Deckorators Vault decking. I was going back and forth between that and Ipe, but the mesquite color of the vault decking will last a lot longer without all the oiling. So excited!

Let me start by saying there are not enough great things to say about Solus Lumber! The short review: If you are looking for a quality product and excellent customer service then look no further! The Long review: I had been looking for a unique and stylish option for finishing the exterior of my garage and my neighbor’s. I researched and reviewed multiple companies and products until I came across rainscreen siding and Solus Lumber. This is a hidden fastener system that creates a beautiful finish and a simplistic way of installing the siding. Not only did Solus Lumber sell this unique and stylish rainscreen but in a multitude of species. I settled on Tigerwood Rainscreen for its unique beauty and character. Ordering a product sight unseen, for a large quantity and a substantial cost can be unnerving for a lot of people, myself included. I had the pleasure of working with Lee from Solus and after multiple email and phone conversations he kindly put to rest all of my worries! Lee and the team at Solus put together everything I needed to bring the project together. They accounted for everything from the wood and hidden fasteners down to the sealants and shipping. Once the Tigerwood was milled and shipped I received from Lee all of the tracking information and set up delivery with no problems. The wood was delivered and all of the sealants but during shipping the hidden fasteners and screws got lost. A quick phone call to Lee got everything straightened up; not only was he apologetic of FedEx’s mistake but that same day got a replacement shipment of the fasteners sent out to me so I could start the project. The wood and the fasteners are of the highest quality and fit together perfectly. The fastener system went up with no problems and was so easy to accomplish! The finished project is simply stunning and I couldn't believe how beautiful the wood is. The sealant Lee recommended was perfect to bring out the depth and character of the Tigerwood. Other neighbors and passer-byers compliment the siding on a daily basis. If you want top quality and the best prices, I highly recommend giving Lee or anyone at Solus a call. I cannot wait to get started on my deck with them next!
