Hey there! Just wanted to say thanks for dropping by and checking out Stone Mountain Projects. My name is Harley Griffin, and I am a proud Albertan, local to YYC and a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter. Throughout my life, I have always had a passion for; my province's great outdoors, sticking to my motto of "Be Prepared", and finding ways to use my intuition to create something out of nothing. From my humble beginnings in my grandparents backyard with a bucket of rusty nails and a hammer, to my own growing personal shop. I have always loved expressing myself through my work, and seeing the expressions on clients’ faces when I reveal to them something I've created. There is no greater satisfaction than fulfilling a customer's desires with something carefully handcrafted, rather than mass-produced. I believe in the importance of being precise, the strength of handcrafted projects made to exacting standards, the beauty of work done with passion, but most importantly having fun while doing the project.

I highly recommend this company, Stone Mountain Projects. Harley cut down our solid wood dinning set. He picked it up and returned it in 4 days. He suggested adding leveling feet to the table, so now it will be level everywhere. He sanded and stained all the feet so it looks like they were always like this. He is very nice, easy to work with and very prompt. It’s obvious he has pride in what he does. One thing that made me sure of his work, he said he’d wanted to be a carpenter since he was a kid. He had a dream and followed it through, Great Job!

Harley at Stone Mountain projects created some amazing table toppers for our venue. His love for woodworking shines through our amazing new tables. Every client that comes in is absolutely in awe of the beautiful toppers that’s need no further decoration as the product speaks for themselves. We had a unique project to build a table out of walnut that would house our piano/keyboard. The craftsmanship was excellent! Harley was very attentive throughout the process to ensure that things were moving in the direction we wanted. Regular communication throughout and updates with photos. The price was also very reasonable and we probably got more than what we paid for. We couldn't be happier with the final product and the service provided. Exceeded expectations and would definitely recommend Stone Mountain for projects.

Harley at Stone Mountain Projects was great! We hired him to create some custom shelves above our credenza and they turned out amazing! The project was completed on time and on budget; we definitely plan to work with Harley again on future projects :)

I have had a couple projects made by Stone Mountain Projects. Harley Griffin has always been courteous and excited about every project he has completed, no matter how big or small. He has built shelves, photo frames, stocking holders, bird houses and charcuterie boards and each and every project comes out undeniably above my expectations. He always finds way to elevate your design to higher standards and is willing to try something new. He uses only the best products and puts his all in his work. The pricing was fair and reasonable for a custom Calgary made product. Very happy with his work and would definitely recommend you give him a shot!

Harley has done several projects for me, including a custom bedroom sign, custom corner shelves and many decor pieces. I couldn’t have been happier with the entire process. Harley listens carefully to every detail you have about your design, and offers his expertise to help you make the best decision regarding size, wood, stain etc. He works quickly and efficiently, while not cutting any corners to sacrifice quality. It is clear he is passionate and knowledgeable in his field. A wonderful plus side of working with Harley is that once he was finished, he brought the pieces to my house and installed them -he cares about the entire process for his pieces, including making sure they are installed correctly, and every detail fits as it was designed. I will not hesitate to use Stone Mountain Projects for future pieces in my home, and always recommend his services to friends and family.

I hired Stone Mountain Projects for several projects around my house but I will be reviewing the latest project of a custom shelf for our storage room. I made an appointment for Harley (owner of Stone Mountain Projects) to come over to explain what I needed, he was on time, courteous and excited about the job. Harley also brought some good ideas on how to get the best results for us. When we saw the completed shelf, we couldn’t have been happier, it was exactly what we wanted and the quality was amazing from the choice of wood to the attention to detail. I have no reservations about recommending Stone Mountain Projects to others and I will definitely be using him in the future.Thanks Stone Mountain Projects.
