I am pleased to write a glowing review for San Jose Hardwood Floors. As a designer I am particular about the finished product and attention to detail. Butch and his staff truly are ahead with new options to stain existing floors to bring them up to date..they even dyed a maple floor to a deep rich finish..amazing. I like their carpet advice and selections as well as engineered floors by great manufactures. Currently they are laying down and staining a beautiful hickory floor for a client. I have worked with Butch for close to 15 years.

SJHF recently replaced the carpet on the staircase (in our new single-family home) with hardwood. My husband and I were on a very tight deadline of a couple of weeks for completion of this project. Of the several flooring companies I had contacted, Butch was the only one who could meet our deadline. In addition, his selection of materials was the most suitable and top-notch for the modern design we had envisioned. His prompt response, level of knowledge & honest advice won us over right away. Even though his bid was the highest, his choice of materials combined with the work ethics and high skill levels of his staff made it worth every penny and more! His & Jayson's infinite patience in promptly responding in details to all of our questions and concerns were truly noteworthy! Also, his crew's patience in working with/around the other sub-contractors in our new home deserves a special mention. Our staircase now looks even more beautiful than we had envisioned, and was completed exactly on time, without any delays or hiccups that happen so often in such projects.
