Shelley has done a number of jobs for us (3 houses). She is superb - creative, timely, responsive, great sense of space, works with lots of great and creative artisans for extra touches. Highly recommend!

We loved working with Shelley on our first home. She did an incredible job selecting gorgeous paint colours and wallpapers. Her design brought cool mid-century modern character and style into our fairly generic townhouse in Leslieville. Shelley's recommendations for refinishing our stairs, light fixtures, and choices for some decor elements were all transformative. She did all this while remaining conscious of our budget as first-time home owners. Her painters and suppliers did excellent work as well. I hope to work with Shelley again soon!

In a city where lots of homes are being built, very few are well designed. Shelley is the exception. Her eye for detail and creativity are unmatched. However, what sets her apart—equally important to her sense of design—is her ability to engage talent. That is, Shelley is very skilled at finding builders, trades, and GC's who can realize her designs and get the job done both on time and while maintaining exceptionally high standards.

Shelley has worked with us on 2 renovations, including a major one with an addition. She understood and listened to our desires and tastes and also brought us new ideas that we never would have thought of -- colour, millwork, furnishings, structure. And she also pushed us out of our comfort zone, but in a good way. We trust her with anything -- she even helped tie in our backyard after landscaping. She also understands no. Very creative and smart. Budgets are also listened to -- she runs the spectrum and knows what's worth spending money on. You'll go back for more!

Shelley Kirsch and her design services are terrific in design, communications and customer service. She understood exactly what I wanted and provided the best quality plus wonderful, understated design of furniture, lighting and paint colours. She knows where to be under the radar with design, (meaning not over the top) and knows where just where to add the pizzaz and punch. I found her services gave a great return on investment. This designer has excellent taste and listens to and understands your wishes and incorporates them into original, functional and beautiful spaces. She has an amazing colour sense and is not afraid to use it. The trades she employs are all masters at what they do. It was a pleasure working with Shelley and I would do it again, without question.

We hired Shelley to design and oversee renovations in our 1920's home. These included gutting the kitchen, designing the layout, choosing all materials, fixtures, furniture and lighting. We turned two closets into a contemporary bathroom upstairs. Shelley choose tiles, fixtures and colour scheme. She also decorated our living room, bedroom, and foyer. She is a wealth of knowledge and creative ideas, always keeping in mind the budget, practicality and lifestyle needs. The renovations have been featured in magazine and newspaper articles. Recommending Shelley is a "no-brainer" for us. In fact, a number of our friends hired her after seeing our home. She has impeccable taste and six years later we're still thrilled with the results.

Shelley has designed both our Victorian home and our modern Lake Huron beach house from top to bottom. She has a coterie of artisans (glass designers, ceramists, iron workers, cabinet makers) that add unique artistic and beautiful features. She never loses sight of the fact that a home always has to be livable and functional as well as beautiful. We have been working with Shelley for 18 years and highly recommend her services.
