Sheila is simply amazingly! When we decided to move ahead with our remodel/addition, I knew I was going to need some professional help to keep me on point. Working with Shelia from M & H Interiors was the exact professional help that I needed ! From attending weekly site meetings, to helping me select bathroom and kitchen fixtures to selecting tile and paint colors - Sheila was there every step of the way. Through the entire process she was organized, responsive, creative and respectful of our budget and style. Shelia was the perfect partner because she would guide us in a design direction but then let my husband and I make the final selections – so the end result felt like our space, not just someone else’s design. I could not recommend her enough !!

Sheila was excellent to work with. I had no idea where to start with our two projects: refreshing the kitchen and making over the powder room. She met with us to determine our tastes, then provided us with multiple choices within our preferences. She made sure that all the various parts worked together. While I sometimes initially doubted her suggestions, her vision turned out to be beyond expectations. She also allowed us a lot of leeway and was fine when we went off on our own trajectory. She was prompt in returning messages, and kept us up to date on progress. Her construction crew was the best. I recommend her highly.

We used M&H Interiors for our mudroom/bathroom addition and first floor (including kitchen) remodel. From the first time we met Sheila, and throughout the project, she was professional, on time, prepared, and listened to what we had to say. Her contacts in the design and construction industry matched her work ethic and top notch service. During our project Sheila did push us outside our comfort zone a few times but it was not "drastic" or "bossy" by all means. It was with respect and professionalism. Once the design was in place she was 100% correct and the outcome was phenomenal. Sheila did not take control of our project but listened to what we wanted and worked with us to ensure the vision of our home came true. All of her recommendations on furniture, fixtures, lighting, and finishing touches lined up with our spending budget. She did provide multiple options (at different price points) and the most expensive was not outrageous. Sheila was accommodating when we had additional questions regarding our project that were not part of the original scope. She helped guide us in the right direction and was very polite about it. (This was within reason of course!) We would highly recommend using M&H Interiors for any project you may have. This could be from a large remodel, like ours, or a small bedroom redesign. We will be calling M&H Interiors again when we redo our upstairs bathrooms and bedrooms!

I can’t say enough about Sheila’s work and professionalism. She is so thorough and just knew what would work for us. We love everything she recommended and the transformation was amazing! She is also so pleasant and great to work with. Highly recommend her!

We chose M&H to help us with our "mini-renno". The brief was to update our existing kitchen to expand workspace and storage and switch from gas to electric appliances, and like anyone we had specific likes and dislikes. Sheila worked hard to find the materials we wanted, directed us to showrooms and suppliers we would not have found otherwise, gave us her opinion when asked, or when we were stuck on a decision, and generally was a dream to work with. The result is a kitchen that meets our highest expectations - it's a joy to cook and entertain in. I would work with M&H again.

Sheila is terrific! Our newly decorated living room turned out better than we could have imagined, and thanks to the new custom-sized built-in bar that Sheila helped design, my husband now has a nicely organized, beautifully displayed place to store his bourbon collection. Sheila has a wealth of knowledge and endless resources for everything we needed. She is wonderful to work with as she is friendly, organized, reliable, and flexible. I tore down my grandparent's home in Wakefield and re-built a new one - a huge project! Sheila was the designer for the project and we worked very closely together for just about 6 months. With a brand new house comes A LOT of decisions, and Sheila did an unbelievable job at helping me make so many decisions. In the beginning, my brain was completely overwhelmed with ideas about everything big and small in the house. Sheila did everything with me in "baby steps", making sure that I was only focusing on a few decisions at a time. I had ideas for what I wanted for some parts of the house and absolutely no idea what I wanted for other parts. Sheila brought my ideas to life and shared tons of hers with me!! (She gets all the credit for my stunning mudroom.) We were in contact almost weekly, either in person, by phone, or by email. Sheila brought me to numerous showrooms - for plumbing fixtures, appliances, tile, and even kitchen hardware. Many people said to me along the way, "you are so lucky to have a Sheila" and they were absolutely right! I am so incredibly happy with my home and so grateful to Sheila for everything she did to help me.

To say I was pleased with the staging Sheila did in my listing is an understatement. My seller and I were so happy with her vision and design. I had a dilemma about a unique space in a small living room and dining area and Sheila knew exactly what furniture and accessories to put in the space to make it look so comfortable and casual. She helped create a home that every buyer could envision themselves living in and in fact we had several offers and we sold for over the asking price. I know Sheilas designs helped sell that unit and I will 100% use her services again.

My partners and I at Oak Street Builders tore down and built a beautiful new home in Westwood. We listed the new house for nearly a year with little success. With the hire of a new real estate agent, it was recommended that we consider staging the house. We hired M & H Interiors for this job. First, I will note the response was immediate and she scheduled us in a few days after our call with her. Everything needed - furniture, decor, etc. - was brought right to the house and unloaded and set up quickly. The house looked fantastic. She created functional spaces where even we, as the builders, had not seen the potential. The overall decor was very high end and very crisp, exactly what we needed for this $1M+ home. With that said, she also did not overdo it. Sheila worked within the budget and focused on those spaces where she knew we would get the most bang for our dollar. Our house had an enormous jump in activity and three offers within two weeks. While you could attribute that to the real estate agent (who was also excellent), I directly attribute this to Sheila's staging. We will be closing on a sale in a week or so and we cannot thank Sheila enough for helping us to sell this house! She is a talented designer with an eye for what people want to see in the home of their dreams
