The design we received from SFA fit us to a T. Working together was always a pleasure. With a remodel there always are surprises that need ideas to work around. As we moved through all phases of the project Dave and Ken were always there to solve each and every issue to a high level of satisfaction. We had a great experience throughout the process but best of all we have a wonderful new home. We cannot say enough of how SFA were our partners from start to finish.

David Freeman of SFA Architects created a vision for the remodel of our the 1977 split entry home that we recently purchased. Since we had very little information on the home from the previous owner, his work included drawing up an original plan, determining the demolition that would be required, handling all necessary surveying and permitting, and incorporating our needs and desires in a new plan that includes expanding the entry, opening up the living space, creating a true master bedroom/bath suite, adding square footage to accommodate a master closet/laundry and shop, and adding a covered outdoor living space. It has been a pleasure working with David. He spent time getting to know us and how we would live in the space. His design sense is based on years of experience but is also fresh, classically modern, and spot-on with what we envisioned. David's design beautifully highlights our water views and blurs the line between indoor/outdoor living. For the kitchen and the master suite, he gave us several choices and helped us reach a final consensus. When our contractor has had questions, David has been quick to respond and provide the guidance needed. As we near the completion of Phase 1 of our building plan, it is amazing to see his transformation of our very dated, typical 1970's house into a home that is modern, comfortable and uniquely ours.

David was very professional, efficient and understanding about our remodel requirements. He was a pleasure to work with as my husband and I felt that he cared about our project and did his best to meet our needs. David also coordinated our plans with the city, thereby removing this task from our workload. We would definitely use his services again.

He is efficient and very to the point. We were designing a home and he did the blueprints for me. He was very attentive and keen on what I needed. He knew exactly the type of style I was searching for.
