As a Landscape Architect, I work with homeowners and pool contractors around the country to design and develop their custom backyard creations. There are three reasons why Rocky with Serenity Hardscapes is on my VERY short list of professional contractors in whom I have complete confidence. First, Rocky has dedicated himself to the profession, and has earned his Certified Pool Builder (CBP) accreditation through the APSP -- the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals. Rocky is dedicated to building his projects RIGHT, using standards and techniques that exceed the required industry standards. When I have Serenity build a project for me, I know that Rocky has the required vision and expertise to build unique features; allowing me to "push the envelope" with my designs beyond the standard and to where many contractors would fail. Secondly, Rocky embodies the euphemism of "On Task, On Time, On Budget". He holds a mastery of his schedule to keep his crews diligently working on the task. Unlike the majority of pool contractors, the term "On Time" is a driving factor in a Serenity project. Rocky works to make sure that progress on every project is consistent and fast -- finishing most projects well before the time consumed by the majority of pool contractors. "On Budget" is also a key factor for Rocky. Unless there are unknown or extenuating site-related circumstances, or if upgrades are desired by the homeowner, the price he gives at the beginning is the price that you will pay. Finally, and most importantly, Rocky is enjoyable to work with throughout the entire development process. Despite his achievements and qualifications (and at an impressively young age I must add), he is personable, fun to work with, and truly takes a personal stake in each project (He will call me late at night and on weekends to discuss ideas and ways to build a unique feature we are working on). He works together with me and with our client as members of the same team to achieve a finished product that is unique and special. Rocky did an excellent job on my outdoor kitchen. He took my drawings and ideas and converted them into reality. Our outdoor kitchen included a Chicago brick pizza oven with a fireplace, big green egg, a gas grill, refrigerator and arbor.

We're very happy with the design and end result of our backyard project. Brett tailored his proposals to our budget and our natural setting. A design that flowed and materials that matched our environment have resulted in an extremely beautiful and comfortable space to relax in. The project took longer than I thought it would, but I'd rather have that with quality than a rapid completion without. It took a couple of tries to get our fireplace mantle right, but other than that we are very pleased with the results and would recommend Serenity Hardscapes for your project.

I hired Brett at Serenity Hardscapes to design my landscaping and put in a front and back patio area around my home. His hard-scape design was very attractive and his knowledge of plants for the mid-south was good. The landscapers and specialists he brought in were punctual, professional, and neat.
