We hired Seatons to remodel our 1966 home into the home of our dreams. I am a interior designer and after our first meeting with Phil & Jayne we knew they would be a great fit. Our entire home was remodeled, interior and exterior. One of our favorite parts of the house is our outdoor living space that we can use year round. We chose to live in our home during the 9 month process. Phil and his team did everything they could to make living in a construction zone as smooth and as comfortable as possible. His crew was very considerate and kept our job site very clean. Phil has a reliable list of subs that did good work. When we encountered any issues Phil & Jayne always responded quickly to resolve them. The before and afters of our home are incredible. We highly recommend Phil, Jayne and their crew.

Phil & Jayne were just wonderful to work with! We remodeled almost every interior surface and we are SO HAPPY with how everything turned out. A few of our favorite aspects of working with Seaton's was that they were clear about their pricing and estimates, they offered very helpful advice and thoughts each step thru the process, their sub contractors were also wonderful... they were professional, kind and so considerate working in our home with us still living there thru the remodel. Their attention to detail and commitment to finishing every detail well was SO REFRESHING... plus they are just wonderful people! We would highly recommend choosing Seaton's for a home remodel.

We are so happy with our garage remodel to studio/entertainment space. The Seatons have assembled a great team who are super friendly, talented and trustworthy. The Seatons are professional, considerate and very easy to work with. It's not usual, in my experience, to have all of those factors working together! You can have high confidence in hiring Seatons General Contractors that you'll be very pleased with the outcome of your project!

We used this company to help us navigate water damage in the kitchen so we needed new flooring and decided to upgrade our granite and backsplash. Phil is a very nice person but terrible communicator and does not pay attention to details. They dropped the ball and left us with an unfinished job. He used contractors and left me to deal with them when they did poor work or didn’t show up. The backsplash was not properly installed. He said he would make it right and instead just left us with some of the tiles not matching or alligned properly, never sealed or caulked. He agreed that he overcharged me for painitiing by $500 and said he would refund off the final bill but instead just never charged us for the last of the work. It wasn’t much unpaid as we paid as we went. We left it that he would be in touch when he could send someone out to fix it. I have never heard from him again. I hired him to do the work, not discount us for not finishing the job. Now I have to pay someone else to fix the job and most contractors don’t want to touch someone else’s mistakes. Communication was terrible. Even after asking him to communicate better. Every day I would wonder if someone was going to show up and do the work. Sometimes they would and sometimes they wouldn’t. Meanwhile, my life was on hold waiting around. Kitchen was a construction zone. The project was dragged out very long. He kept saying he would be by to put in the trim or fix this or that, but something always came up. They broke the central vac on the floor and took a very long to fix it so I had no vacuum in the whole house for several months. This showed he didn’t care about me. I felt like this job was too insignificant for him and therefore he didn’t care. If he felt that way, I wish he wouldn’t have taken the job in the first place. It is still unfinished.

Phil and his team did excellent work redoing our shower. The previous contractor we used had done some questionable things, and Phil's team walked us through all of the issues they came across and were happy to answer any questions I had. On top of that, they came in just under their estimate, were done in a very timely manner, and the finished shower looks great. Overall, we are very happy with the work they did for us and highly recommend them.

After nearly 10 years of thinking and talking about a kitchen remodel, we finally decided to take the plunge. From day 1 Phil patiently listened to what we wanted and with every issues that came up during the construction, he gave careful thoughts and ideas to solve them and proceeded. Walls were moved and layout was changed so it required moving of some pluming. Jayne was there each step of the way with the design decisions which was very challenging for me. The end result is a user friendly and very beautiful kitchen in which I love to prepare meals and bake for my family and friends. The Bathroom portion of the remodel was pretty straight forward with replacing everything with new. The finishing touch was provided by Jayne and it turned out so beautiful that we've received many compliments from our guests and some have actually asked for permission to use it after seeing it.

In early Spring, 2016, we called on Jayne Aide and Seaton's, Inc. to help us with the remodel of two bathrooms in our mid-century 9th-floor condo. Jayne helped us figure out what our goals were for the project and then made sure it happened. She was very generous with her time and ideas, helping us identify fixtures, cabinets & counters and accessories that matched our vision and were respectful of our budget, Jayne was creative in working through the complications and constraints that come with a project on the upper floor of a building that doesn't have a service elevator. She was great working with the 'subs' to be sure of quality and a beautiful finished project. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled, well-connected designer who listens and cares.

Jayne is creative yet practical. She offered exceptional design work and was willing to work with us in the implementation and selection of product.

Phil and Jayne are a power team. Phil is an expert craftsman and builder with a wealth of experience ranging from simple to complex remodels. Jayne is a master designer with an incredible eye for detail, light, color, balance, and flow. Together, they helped us reimagine our kitchen and living room as one, big, open space that we absolutely love and spend all our time in. They helped us choose cost-effective materials and gently advised at decision points that in retrospect were critical to the project's success.
