Sean is a consummate professional who is as skilled as he is passionate about his craft. I highly recommend him for anyone in the PNW looking for high quality custom made wood furniture or other wood products. The walnut coffee table he crafted for me is gorgeous and acts the centerpiece for my new living room. I highly recommend without reservation or qualification.

I commissioned Sean at Black Rose Wood to design and build an outdoor table for a house I was renovating. Sean was great to work with, provided constant communication about the building process and how the table was coming along. He was very knowledgeable about the woodworking details and how the table was put together. In the end the table turned out great and has been the crown jewel of all the outdoor parties and dinners that I have hosted at the house. Everyone that visits the house notices the table and comments about how beautiful and functional it is. It will certainly be an heirloom piece that will last generations. I work in real estate development and have worked with a few woodworking artisans, but I find Black Rose WoodCraft to be at the top of my list and I would definitely work with Sean on future projects both personal and commercial.

Sean made us a custom coffee table and 2 matching end tables. They are absolutely gorgeous. He has an eye for detail, is incredibly thorough, and maintains a strong level of professionalism- working to ensure the product is exactly what we envisioned. He’s great!
