I have been in the business of making furniture for 35 years, 27 on my own. In that time, I've designed and built custom furniture and cabinetry for small businesses and individual homeowners tailored to their needs, with a goal of delighting them with the final result. Over my career, I've learned to be attuned to clients' furnishing needs both as they were able to articulate them and also as an interpreter of what they could only roughly imagine. Part of my philosophy has been to involve my clients in the design process making the result a collaborative effort, blending what they envisioned with my interpretation of how those imaginings could be effectively produced. My emphasis has been upon quality at every stage of the relationship, from meeting to communicating to the use of the best materials to final satisfaction with a superb product. My products are usually original and one-of-a-kind creations, though I do build 'interpretations' of period pieces. Solid hardwood or fancy veneers. Paint or wood finishes. The span of my offering includes: dining room tables and chairs, free-standing storage cabinets, kitchen accessory furniture, bedroom furniture, sideboards, chairs, coffee tables, end tables, wine servers in North American hardwoods, though I will admit to having used pine and reclaimed 'factory wood' on occasion.
