Sandy took my generic white light switches and electrical outlets and seamlessly blended them into the larger whole of my kitchen backsplash. She works with precision, accuracy, good humor, and unique artistry. It can be challenging to match backsplash colors to a blank plate considering the almost infinite variety of patterns and materials available, but Sandy is up to any challenge. I am thrilled with the work she performed in only one day. I recommend her wholeheartedly.

An excellent solution to blending switch plates and electrical receptacles into granite and other materials. The Switchplate lady, Sandy, is an artist and perfectionist. In reality it is a better solution than paying a high price to a granite or marble company to do custom 'rock' switch plates which easily break. As an addition, her business is in California and she is able to do long distant projects such as mine, which is in Oklahoma.

Greetings, I recently had Granite Grannies of Maryland install granite kitchen countertops and full back-splash and it is magnificent. I did not want to place ordinary switch plates to my fabulous backsplash so I found Switchplate Lady via many online searches. I contacted her through email and commissioned her to create switchplates for my kitchen. OMG the switchplates matched perfectly. I sent Sandy the pieces of granite that I could recover from the installation and she painted 11 switch plates in her studio. The work Sandy did was outstanding. The color match and movement within the stone was captured as if Sandy did each one outlet here in my home! The color combinations are fabulous. Sandy is truly gifted and I highly recommend her work. I can not say enough good things about the top notch quality of Sandy's skills. If you want a high end look to accent your marble, granite, etc look you should consider asking Sandy to paint your outlets. Mine turned out better than my small imagination could conceive. Sandy is the ultimate painter and her transition to switch plates is amazing. She is neat, tidy and very detail orientated. My kitchen switch plates melt into the back splash. They were done seven years ago and still look like they were done yesterday. I have rated her a 5 but if there was a 10 that would be my choice.

About 8 years ago I was visiting a friend who was showed me the switchplates that the Switchplatelady painted to match her granite. I couldn't see them at first - they blended in so completely. I noticed how badly my white switchplates stood out against my beautiful granite so I called the Switchplatelady and she did my entire kitchen! I can't believe how big a difference it made. That was eight years ago and they've held up beautifully.
