Sandy Oster is one of the most talented, professional, creative, smartest, honest, practical, nicest person that I have ever worked with. We designed and built our house & Sandy was involved from the beginning, advising us with our architect and then helping me to decorate all of it. From children's rooms to a formal dining room to an everyday kitchen, she was fabulous. She worked within my budget, was so creative & gave practical advice. Even after all of these years, I still love the decor. Timeless. And she was able to really interpret what I wanted for my family. She really adapts to the clients' taste. In addition, all of the vendors & showrooms also loved working with her. I was always so impressed how these professionals respected her. Not only did I respect her professional expertise, I SO enjoyed working with her. She was a pleasure; I so looked forward to my "Sandy" days that we spent together working on my house. Sandy is a special find!

We worked with Sandy several years ago when we renovated our home. She decorated our entire home and was an integral part in helping us make decisions with kitchen and bath designs. Working with Sandy was simply a pleasure. Her taste and design ideas are exceptional but it's her follow through that truly makes her stand apart from other designers. She wasn't satisfied until we were satisfied. Her dedication to our job and desire to make us happy was paramount and we hope to work with her again!

We are a family of six that moved from Sydney, Australia to Westport, CT. Nine months prior to our arrival we purchased an unfinished home. I hired Sandra to complete all the interior specifications of our home that ranged from paint colors, tiles, cabinetry, floor stain, lighting and eventually furniture. Not only does she have impeccable taste but she managed to keep our builders on time and on budget even though I lived 10,000 miles away. The quality I liked most about Sandra was that she really took the time to understand my sense of style. Because she did this, we saved so much time, money and effort. I completely trusted her to make decisions on my behalf and we ended up with a very beautiful home.

I have known Sandy Oster for approximately 13 years as she is a client of the company where I am employed. I can only tell from the way Sandy deals with her clients in our showroom, just how professional, warm and caring she is. Judging from the number of repeat clients, her work must be excellent, or they would certainly seek other design options. Sandy is creative to the highest degree and gives each and every client the time and attention they expect and deserve. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking an interior designer.

We first used Sandra Oster Interiors twenty-five years ago for a full house remodel in Connecticut. We were very happy with the results and it was a disappointment when six months later we relocated to California. Sandra always said that we would be back and we continued to keep in touch. Therefore when we purchased an apartment in NYC it was an easy decision to return to Sandra and Sandra Oster Interiors. One of the aspects of this apartment were to highlight a contemporary art collection. As such Sandy spent a lot of time choosing the furnishings and furniture that were welcoming and comfortable yet worked well with a different art pieces. As a result the end product is a very sophisticated yet livable environment that we are very much at home with. Sandy was a delight to work with and we highly recommend Sandra Oster Interiors.

Sandy of Sandra Oster Interiors guided us through decorating our new home. We needed furniture, carpets, lighting, and painting and wallpaper, and especially ideas. She is creative, intuitive, knowledgeable, and sensitive to the needs of her clients. Having an art background myself, I had never used a decorator before. This was a wonderful experience. Sandy brings a fresh eye, a creative approach, and the ability to get things done. She recommends accomplished craftsmen for necessary work, and supervises. I am very pleased with both the outcome and the experience and I highly recommend Sandy

Sandy worked with us for 2 years on a complete renovation/building project. She was involved from pre-construction through final finishes. She prepared detailed room layouts and brought a keen eye for quality and color in selecting furniture, fabrics, paint color, wall coverings, lighting and accessories. Sandy willingly and enthusiastically incorporated existing furniture/family heirlooms into her work. She was uniquely on time, under budget and a pleasure to deal with. We have and will continue to whole-heartedly recommend Sandy.
