Sandra Bonderud is a licensed Architect and the owner BONDERUD DESIGN inc., located in the San Francisco East Bay Area. Sandra's designs embrace many different styles of architecture, and strive to integrate interior and exterior spaces; always with the goal of creating an individual aesthetic for each client. Sandra has over 25 years of experience on all building types. Several of her projects have received design industry top awards, and have been published widely and internationally. Other projects are small in scale or low-key. Regardless of size or style, all are of excellent quality.

Sandra is really wonderful to work with! We had some shady plans drawn up elsewhere and we called Sandra for help and she whipped the plans into shape so fast and brilliantly! She transformed our plans and saved us much heartache. Her expertise is invaluable and her taste is impeccable. Not only is she professional and talented, but she is a delightful person to be around and work with. I highly recommend her!

I have worked with Sandra on many projects and I am always in awe of the finished project- always sophisticated yet livable, a perfect balance of esthetic and function. She is also wonderful to work with, her professionalism, can do attitude, and sunny personality come through every time! As a vendor it is very precious to work with such a top notch designer, and I know her customers agree- I recommend Sandra without reserve.

Sandra is incredibly talented and a team player. She has the ability to interpret her Client's design sense while achieving built interior spaces that have a sense of upscale livability. She is very reliable and is a great addition to a consultant team on a project that requires a multi-disciplinary effort. We always recommend Sandra for projects that need an amazing architect!

Sandra is the only architect I've worked with but it is hard to imagine a better working relationship than we've had. Sandra took my concept sketches and worked with me to evolve them into a wonderful, workable design. She shepherded the plans through the onerous planning review process with the city of Orinda and got approval the first time through, even with a few variances from the zoning code. Sandra is consistently responsive to my endless naive questions and sometimes goofy ideas. I look forward to working with her again on a commercial project I'm developing.

We have used Sandra on many occasions for both commercial and residential projects and she has been a true Professional. We just built a wine room for 793 bottles and she was instrumental .

II enjoyed working with Sandra very much. She is always willing to listen and is a good collaborator. Her constructive ideas helped design a house that is on it's way to becoming my lovely new home.
