We built our house about 30 years ago and used the finest builder and materials that we could find at that time. Now, it was time for some upgrades. However, I was never comfortable having others work on our home. We were fortunate in that two of our friends had used Rod in the past and we were able to see some of his work. We were quite impressed and decided to go with him. We could not be more pleased with our results!!! Our project was a kitchen upgrade and some additional electric and painting work. As with most projects, there were some issues and setbacks along the way. But, Rod and his team were always positive and re-assuring. They were able to overcome all issues and the results came out great with no impact to the overall schedule. Rod brought in excellent counter technicians, painters, electricians and a plumber in addition to those on his team. They worked flawlessly and cooperatively together. The final cost of the project was what was quoted. We highly recommend Strathmore Construction with no reservations.

Creative Craftsmanship. Our master bath from the '80s (or older) needed a major uplift into this century. Our desire was to have something a little different than the usual but keeping it within the stone,tile, and wood framework. From 3 samples for the countertop,cabinets, and flooring, a stunning, created for our needs bathroom was artistically designed and built by professional, skilled personnel who understood quality and who put their name on their work. There are many good construction companies who will give you a new bathroom just like the one in the store. Strathmore Construction will give you one that is uniquely your own.

Strathmore Construction took charge of an addition to a 1950 house. The addition included a master bedroom with bathroom and dressing room with walk in closet plus laundry room. A basement was added under the new part to the existing basement. Existing bedroom was converted to a dining room. Hardwood floors in existing rooms were refinished. A small porch was redone. It was a big job on an existing home. With only a month's delay getting started, because of weather, the pace was steady. Quality materials were used and skilled subs were on time and moved quickly. The project met or exceeded my expectations. It finished in seven months close to budget. The general contractor is also an architect and drew the plans for the project as well as a previous project of a garage addition.

Rod Sidley designed and supervised the remodeling of our master bathroom. His design ideas enhanced the objectives we shared at our initial meeting, and he paid attention to subtle details that took our design concept from good to great. Rod respected my budget concerns, suggested price options for products, and updated the budget at key stages. He was an excellent communicator, keeping me informed of the weekly or daily schedule. Strathmore Construction was professional, courteous, and respectful of our home and daily life. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day and I had total confidence and trust in them. It was a pleasure to work with Rod and the crew of experts doing the construction and installation. I highly recommend Rod Sidley and Strathmore Construction!
