Designer Gardens

Based on a recommendation from a friend we hired Rosalind to help us design a new deck garden. We wanted a larger deck for entertaining as well as changes to the existing garden that would provided easier access from the side entrance and more aesthetically pleasing. Rosalind listen to our requirements and provided us with a drawing that delightfully met all our needs. We were able to see a vision where our new deck would provide us with the additional space we were looking for as well as gardening options that would allow us to repurpose and grow our garden giving us some colour and symmetry to a much shaded garden. We have implemented approximately two-thirds of our new plan last year and will finish the remainder in 2018 when the new gardening season begins.

We contacted Designer Gardens for some direction on a new house we were building for us and my in-laws. We are so happy with the service! Ros visited our old house, our new house and my in-laws at their house to ensure she knew all our tastes and preferences. Nothing left to chance! My in-laws were happy to be included, and love the gardens and planters. So do we - thanks so much!

Rosalind at Designer Gardens is a vey skilled and knowledgeable landscaper who listened and delivered an exceptional design of plants and bushes that are easy to maintain and a design that I, an amateur gardener, could follow with ease. She had a clear vision of what would work after a couple of visits and developed the design for a reasonable price. I was impressed by Rosalind's creative vision and warm professionalism. Rosalind is very efficient and clearly enjoys her craft. She advised where to buy the best plants and followed up on all concerns and questions that arose during the project. It feels good to walk around and enjoy the fruits of your work and be happy with the design layout. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were so very pleased with Ros's exemplary service! Suffice to say, that with regard to green thumbs, mine is pale yellow. Ros was patient and understanding, ensuring we had all the necessary details, equipping us to carry through on the wonderful design she created for our back garden area. She was approachable, accessible and responsive. So sorry we didn't take any "before" pics, but will certainly post some "after" shots in the summer. We would highly recommend Designer Gardens!

Very professional work planning, designing and selecting plants for a potential rework of our entire front garden. We were provided with an excellent drawing showing locations for the selected plants. For someone without a green thumb this was money well spent!
