Rose DiNapoli Interiors and Decorative Arts

Rose DiNapoli exemplifies the art of decorative interiors. Not only can she walk into a space and immediately begin to be inspired but is inspiring. Her knowledge encompasses a vast library of information which she carries in her head! Rose makes her suggestions in a way that inspires confidence. When you are in her hands, your home or office will become a living space where you will thrive and feel fantastic. Thank you, Rose, for making my home as incredible as it is!

It is not often that one finds a professional who immediately makes an impact in a most positive way. I met Rose DiNapoli by chance and was drawn not only to her sense of creativity and style but her accommodating manner, her hands-on approach at every stage, her vision, and her unique ability to take something rather plain and turn it into a conversation piece. I threw a last minute project out for her to consider recently involving a large family gathering arriving at my small cottage on the Bay which was fast approaching, and without hesitation, she said let's take a look. I think she was challenged! Painting started the next day. The result of her work was far beyond what I imagined; she was there making things happen every step of the way until completion. She created exactly what I wanted to convey which was a fresh, upscale, family oriented spot that we all enjoy on weekends. I now depend on her to pick any paint color, any fabric, any design feature and accessory because it will be right the first time. She has touched another member of my family this summer by working directly with our son who moved into an empty, glass enclosed, trendy apartment in Washington DC, and turned it into a spectacular bachelor pad created from scratch. She is the definition of a talented and accomplished designer, and we are looking forward to working with Rose in the fall with additional projects.

Bravo Rose. She took our 35 year old kitchen that had never been remodeled, and turned it into a show piece. Our friends and neighbors are astounded at the difference between the old and new. Rose suggested we knock down a wall and make a 7 foot peninsula in our townhouse kitchen. We used gray cabinets for the peninsula and white cabinets for everything else. This all looked fabulous with gorgeous black granite countertops (Virginia Mist). She held our hands most of the way, as my wife had surgery during the remodel, which required a lengthly recovery and assistance from me. Rose took off and made certain that everything came out perfect. Her suggestion of using gray porcelain floor tiles was perfect.. She also suggested we have at least 2 glass front cabinets, which made the kitchen look even bigger. Rose also worked on our powder room remodel, and suggested a new living room furniture configuration that changes the entire look of the house. We most highly recommend her.

Rose DiNapoli is a fantastic designer who provided me with great design advice and services in redoing my LR and DR which were done in full 80's elaborate style. She helped me select new paint colors and fabrics. Her strengths are that she will work with what you have and is budget conscious in choosing materials, she is incredibly easy to work with She treated my small job with as much care and attention as I am sure she shows to the very large jobs I know she does. The workmen and workshops she uses are top notch and reasonable cost-wise. And, of course, she has great taste! I recommend her highly without reservation.

Rose's attention to and focus on detail is unparalleled. She can simultaneously take in the whole and attend to the very smallest elements in her design. She is also a great listener and works to set her own biases aside to understand completely what you want. Several times I have "gone rogue" from her schedule sheets and she goes right along with me, which makes me feel as though my quirky tastes and idiosyncratic color choices are absolutely validated and honored, and that I will always find myself in her designs. Fortunately, it will be the best of myself. Additionally, she is tireless and easygoing, very giving of her time, which makes her a delight to work with.

Rose was wonderful to work with: she brings together her tremendous sense of style with her savvy knack as a business-woman to deliver excellent, cost-effective solutions to the broad spectrum of design challenges. Rose and her company completely renovated, expanded and redecorated our 1912 Sears Foursquare here in Arlington, VA. Not only did we get beautiful spaces, but Rose's exceptional taste and skill in guiding us through good choices to fill those spaces with great color, texture, lighting, use-ability and comfort. We highly recommend Rose and hope very much to find a next project with her.

Signature Elevators & Accessible Design collaborated with Rose on the installation of an elevator in a most extraordinary house in Arlington VA. As the owner of SEAD and Signature Kitchens, Additions & Baths I know high quality design and craftmenship when I see it. Rose designed the entire house and it was very very impressive from top to bottom. She is the type of designer I would hire to do my own personal house. She is top rate.
